  Beautiful Place to Stay!!!

  Nancy and Bill are absolutely fabulous hosts! They have been welcoming guests for 19 years, and they have a beautiful place. The place is extremely clean and well maintained. The common space (living room) is spacious and elegant. They have a wonderful backyard, where tall resplendent pine trees cast their shade on the green grass. I enjoyed playing with their lovely dog in the backyard; one could also take a break in the hammock. Nancy also serves delicious complimentary breakfast every morning! Nancy herself is an accomplished singer (who has sung in the White House twice -- once for Clinton and once for Obama). Nancy's place is conveniently located -- extremely close to the lake (so much so that one can see the lake from the balcony). I really love the place!

  Hurry!

  We recently had another, our fourth, wonderful stay at the Inn at Fawnskin. We stayed in the Garden Suite, which was very comfortable and gave us direct access to both a small deck and the garden behind the Inn. As always, Nancy and bill were gracious and friendly and served delicious, sit-down breakfasts during our stay. I titled this review "Hurry!" because, unfortunately, the Inn will be closing in November. If you have a chance try to work in a stay before then.

  Two nights in our beautiful mountains

  Always a nice place to relax and recreate. Bill and Nancy are great hosts and the breakfasts are excellent. Weve stayed here 5 or 6 times and the experience was always special. Very cozy!Downtown Big Bear Lake has really made some nice improvements.

  Highly recommended B&B

  Stayed here over the busy Labor Day weekend. We had a very comfortable room on a peaceful property next to the lake. The breakfast and coffee each day was amazing. One of the best hotel breakfasts that we've had anywhere!!!

  Perfect choice!

  The Inn was a perfect place for our Anniversary celebration. Close to Big Bear but in quiet and peaceful Fawnskin. Looks just like the picture, enjoyed the back lawn lounge chairs, wine and the company of their loveable dog Beau. Breakfast was a treat served family style, each day different and wonderful! The accommodations were perfect, clean and comfortable. We stayed upstairs in the 3 room suite overlooking the yard. The room across the hall with the fireplace had a balcony with a view of the lake. All of the rooms were very nice! Lots of windows for enjoying the clean crisp mountain air. The hosts (Nancy and Bill) are warm, welcoming and efficient. They are knowledgeable about the area and were a great help with restaurants and activities. We would love to stay there again!
