Nice place, very spread outNice place to stay with large rooms and good wifi. My room was a long way from reception wth golf carts that take you to and from the room but it isnt very convenient. The block of rooms I was in was very noisy day and night. Also Im yet to work out the pool, some staff say its closed others say there isnt one. Either way its disappointing and I would probably book somewhere else next time.

Always ended up having some type of negative experienceI had the unfortunate lucky to be put into this hotel for almost one year, with no choice for another. That would've been fine if it was a good experience. But it simply wasn't. There's definitely some bad vibes here. I had so many issues: From a terrible bed, with springs digging into my back, to bed boards that simply broke when you climb onto the bed. I had staff trying to enter my room while I was inside, without asking me. They would ofter call continuously or bang on the door endlessly during my daily, regular scheduled times that I requested them to not disturb me (evening times, I would be working and bust with live, professional video conferencing). There was clearly no respect for any form or rights to privacy. Informing the managers, requesting times to not disturb me and the "do not disturb" sign seemed to be of no use. The best was when they actually tried to enter the room during this time, while I was inside... They fog for mosquitos three times a week, weekdays. They usually wait for individuals to be most likely in the rooms to spray. Around 5-6pm weekdays. Often they woifl transport you right through the mist, on their open air buggies. Didn't seem to be an issue to them whatsoever. Guests became very distressed. Suggestions for doing it during mid morning times, when most would likely be out, also fell on deaf ears. Food is overpriced and of a very low standard. Internet was good when I arrived, but became very slow and unreliable for the magority of the year. Mobile data was the only option. When left Myanmar, I realised I had forgotten a marionette purchased on Inle lake. I emailed the manager, inquiring about it. But never had a reply. I later revisited Myanmar and was able to pop into the Amara to collect the marionette, to be told that it had simply been thrown away. This also involved the manager arguing with me about how I had made complaints about him during my stay, unrelated to the puppet. Highly unprofessional. On the surface, this establishment seems lovely, when you scratch through the surface, you find that this place is hardly a welcome or pleasant stay. All in all, the staff do try hard. But the management and system have some really bad processes.

Nice green environmentAlways my preferred hotel whenever my business trip to Naypyitaw. Very spacious clean room. Although the building block far from the main lobby, it is always good to have a 5min walk in the morning to the restaurant. Buggy is available whenever you need them.

A splendid placeNot surprisingly for Nay Pyi Taw, this is a quiet place, with villas and room blocks scattered hither and yon. I was in the Fantastic block. The Majestic block was on the other side of the eutrophied little lake. The room was large, with beautiful wooden floor (a destination of the forests) and all mod cons. The balcony was screened by a row of trees whose names I do not know but they were lovely nonetheless. The food at breakfast and dinner (often alone in the restaurant) was good and the staff ever-so sweet. There's no pool or gym. You would need to have booked the Grand Amara for those. It was seemingly a million miles everywhere by car, which is the case for every hotel in the Abode of the Kings, but I managed to stroll the 3 km to the Junction Mall on a couple of occasions, enjoying the spongy grass, the wide footpaths, the lack of traffic, the trees, the occasional butterfly. Take an umbrella if you feel inclined to follow; it's necessary for both sun and rain. If you enter the mall downstairs, on the left is a restaurant that's often almost full serving very good Myanmar cuisine. I had an extraordinary gelatinous soup one time that was delicious, which I will never forget. At the entrance there is a pastry section that has equally extraordinary and delicious egg custard tarts. Not to be missed!

Good landscapes and comfyI usually stay in here.Very large hotel like a resort. Staff is very friendly and hospitality . Room is fine, big and comfy bed. At this hotel, room is functionally designed mixed with modern furniture and services that to make your stay convenient and comfortable. One of the good hotel in Nay Pyi Taw. Location is clean. Very cose distance to Shopping Mall. The Junction Shopping Mall, Myanmar Gem and Jade,Government Offices are driven within a 15 minutes drive from the hotel. Less choice in Breakfast. If you requested yogurt will treat you, they always not prepared to serve it.Good service.
