  Post Lockdown trip

  This was our first hotel stay after the easing of lockdown and we couldnt have felt safer. All rules were followed without it interfering with our stay. We have stayed before and were not disappointed this visit. Rab and Rachel are always extremely welcoming and we always have a good banter. Their staff are really professional and coped marvellously with a huge influx of customers due to the Eat out to Help out initiative. We ate here the three nights of our stay and the food was lovely. The Scottish breakfast was also delicious. Our room was clean and comfy with a beautiful en-suite. The village is quiet and peaceful. Lovely wee break. We will be back.

  Great Hotel to stay in

  Joe, my husband and I have just returned from a 5 day stay here. We had a relaxing stay. Rab & Rachael are Best Hosts Ever. Brilliant breakfast lasted us till we had dinner at 5pm. Good choice of menu and food excellent. Going back for a short break at end of next month. Would highly recommend. Sylvia & Joe

  Short break

  Stayed for two nights. Excellent location. Bedroom and ensuite nicely decorated and comfy. Made very welcome by Rachel & Rab. Covid restrictions in place and adhered to. Recommend the fish and chips. A hearty breakfast served by Nicky. Good selection. Would certainly recommend.

  Great welcome and comfortable rooms as always

  Just spent a week away in Scotland and this was by far and away the most comfortable room we stayed in, nice big bed, large bathroom, lots of toiletries, tea, coffee & biscuits. Food is all home cooked and excellent, including breakfast. Nice cosy bar area with a proper fire. Well placed for walking in the surrounding hills.

  Great break

  Stayed for two nights in September and found this hotel to be good value. Great food and service. Lovely large room, huge bathroom and comfortable bed. The staff were great, really friendly and happy to answer questions on the local area. It felt very safe with everyone adhering to the Covid rules. The village is nestled in the hills in a beautiful setting and is superb for walkers. I doubt you will see anyone else once in the hills. We will be back next year.
