It was the most wonderful vacation for me, my friends and our children. GoGo is the hottest DJ. He cared for our mood and also feel good! Animators make our days fun. DJ GoGo is the best! Thanks for the incredible experiences!

Beautiful beach, old hotel, horrible management, old dirty carpets, food risky

The title summarizes all. The beach and the sea is wonderful,I suggest to stay in another place on the same cost. The restaurant was very hot,so food spoilage was a big risk. We did not consume anything that might go bad quickly. Also, although does not matter for me but, there were very limited food choices for both breakfast and dinner. The carpets in the room were smelling very bad. the hotel does not provide beach towels and suggests that you can buy from the hotel market. Luckly I always carry a light towel in my luggage. The personal was also not nice, except the the lobby barmen and the ladies cooking eggs in the restaurant,

    Much more than perfect!

We truely loved the hotel, the beach, the staff, the food, in other words everything... We went there in june during one of the most busy weeks of this summer... Despite the crowd, every single person working in there was smilin with a positive energy... It really makes you feel good and special when you are attended as so Our room was always perfectly cleaned, food was always good, animation team was full of energy and there is no need to describe Akbük, the beach was gorgeous... During our stay, we celebrated my husbands birthday, and all the team helped me to organize a perfect surprise... The managers were always there to chat and to have our opinions, the most sincere ones... I really recommend you to spend your holiday in the Holiday Resort Didim, and we definitely will go there again...

    average hotel

we( my husband and I ) were staying in this hotel from 9 Aug till 16 Aug , I start with good points : 1. food was various and delicious 2.drinks were good 3.staff were very friendly and helpful weak points: 1. pool was not clean because little children (even babies with their parents) were allowed to enter to the adult pool and some of them even had their napkins on and it seemed disgusting . 2. most of staff were not able to speak English 3. restaurant was very very very hot and their AC did not work .

Good large beach front hotel, pool, gardens.

Rooms good and cleaned daily. All staff speak little English except for a fluent English speaking Customer Relations Officer and the Manager. Lack of English notices so it is possible to miss events/trips. Lots of turkish guests but being only one of a few English couples there was not a problem for us. "Dogan" the hotel chef is very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts does have lots on offer - continental breakfast - fruits and cerials for children but if you expect bacon, beans and sausage you might be disapponted. Lunch included pizza/chips or similar and Dinner had various dishes supplemented by pastas, rice, vegetables etc. Lamb casserole was delicious. Plenty of puddings. Not *5 but good. Garden snack bar offers chicken nuggets, chips etc for children. Pool has slides for children and was very clean. Plenty of sunbeds everywhere in gardens, poolside and beach. Take your own towels though. Animation lively but not ear shattering. We often went to Bulent's beach restorant next to Hotel and two occasions had a four course meal with wine for only 100 Turkish Lira each (£15 each). He alos surpised me with a large cake and gifts on my birthday while dining practically on the beach on his court yard. Recommend his steak and sea bream - beautifully done!!! He uses google translate to have conversation but knows some English. His wife Aysa works in the hotel market and speaks some English and is hugely friendly as is beach restaurant waiter. They will play English music for you although I loved their turkish music too. There is a bus to Altinkum Resort from front of Hotel (7 TL or £1 each) otherwise it is an expensive 100Tl in taxi one way. (£15). The two neighbouring hotels have gone bust although just futher round the bay is supermarket and nightclub and a few more restaurants, but it NOT a busy resort. Wifi is patchy and internet access poor. If you are looking for Football on TV it is not that kind of Hotel. There is only one English Channel on TV. However, we loved this place and will go again as the Turkish folk are lovely, inspite of more than a few unfriendly Bulgarians there when we went end of season.
