Interesting placeWe only stayed 2 days here due to our itinerary but would love to have stayed longer. The resort is quiet and has a lovely beach and surrounding area. We enjoyed massage's on the beach and the food was also good. We made use of the bikes to explore the grounds. It was very relaxing, would definitely recommend thus resort for some RnR.

Hidden Gem!So its a lil confusing as we first arrived at Thai Life whom run the admin and check in for both resorts. We were then driven to our little area at The Hip Resort. Our Sunset room was amazing with small pool and kitchen with all ur basics. The mini bar was so cheap which was an added benefit. We were asked if we wanted bikes which we said yes to. We loved our pool as the other main pool was at ThaiLife and v busy and small. Our room was awesome only thing is bring something to watch USB etc the channels are mostly in Thai no DVD player. The beach was directly at the front of our room approx 300m we rode our bikes there. The beach had a restaurant, bar and massage beds. There are day beds for hire with shelter but if ur from the resort its free!! As well as beach towels u just sign them in and out! The lil shelters come with bar service and we ordered food as well. This was the only restaurant I would eat at, it was fantastic. The food was great and each night they had a special etc a bbq banquet with seafood for 350tbh. The massages were brilliant book In advance and listen to the waves as you relax. The sunsets are amazing! If you dont want to ride a bike The Hip Resort has a Little bus that takes you to the beach, restaurants etc. The Thai life run a supermarket/town trip every second day for free. We went and got some snacks and went to the chemist. They let you walk around for about an hour then come back. There is a book swap at the reception which was awesome as I went through a lot! My only negative feedback was The ThaiLife Restaurant. This is where your buffet breakfast is. When we first arrived our room was not avail yet so we ordered some lunch and sat by the pool. 45mins later after we asked about the food it finally arrived. The food mine especially was cold (club sandwich with chips) the chips in eatable and cold the sandwich mushy and slimy I couldnt eat it. The worse thing was the young lady that bought it to us she almost yelled at me as I couldnt understand her, she threw the plates on the table and rolled her eyes. Im completely understanding of people having a bad day etc but she was really rude. Given this experience I only ate at the pool restaurant and bought my breakfast from the supermarket. We love The Hip Resort its so different from most accommodation but very affordable and so lovely. I think next time I would hire a car to look around more!

Peaceful and FriendlyGreat place to stay. Very dog friendly, has a kitchenette, large rooms, comfy beds, huge balcony, wifi good, excellent breakfast. It is a little confusing when arriving as this is a resort within another resort called ThaiLife. Well managed with friendly staff but a little confusing when arriving. Please also note that you are able to walk to a wonderful beach from the resort. Best beach in Thailand. Recommended for a relaxing stay.

Hidden gemA lovely resort in a hidden place. Located next to ThaiLife Home Stay and Resort (you will have your breakfast here, and they share the facilities together) The road to the resort itself may small and dark at night but you will find yourself staying in a peaceful place. My room have a large bed and big balcony you can relax during the day. Other amenities include TV, sofa, minibar, and pantry with sink. Friendly staff. The resort surrounded by a greeny garden. You can walk to the beach A beautiful Haadson beach and enjoy beachfront spa and restaurant. The hotel offer tours and transfer you can book through. Overall a peaceful stay. Perfect for those who seek for a relax and value holiday.

No longer HipIve been an ongoing customer here for many years. This tiny resort used to be a nice, quiet retreat near a secluded, pristine beach. Now, the beach is covered with rubbish year-round, and high-rise hotels are being built on both sides. The main road that runs through the resort is now clogged with construction vehicles, loud motorbikes without mufflers, tractors and earth moving machines working all around, rain or shine. Prices remain low because demand is low. Now, the foreign workers for nearby construction projects stay in the better units, while paying customers are given the less-desirable units. The cottages themselves are also showing signs of wear, and need refurbishing. 5 years ago it earned 5 stars. Now it barely earns one.
