  Wonderful experience

  My wife & I stayed for one week & the staff were excellent, the staff on the days I played golf looked after my wife & each day after they cleaned room would leave fresh fruit. Each night when we were going into town to various restaurants they would organise taxi for us which costs 150Bhat ( $6.00 ) good value as approx 2klms. There are only 9 rooms in hotel which allows for good service to all. Have nothing but praise for hotel & its staff.

  A Resort With a Very Small Swimming Pool

  I stayed at The Herbs By The Sea for two nights and it was not so good. There were some pros and some cons Some of the pros are that the staffs were very nice and friendly. At morning, they would greet us with a smile on their face. Everyday, you would get two apples for free, which is very fresh. Each room is named after a type of herb. The body wash, the body lotion, the aroma, and the conditioning shampoo would be made from the herb that is the name of the room. On our first day, we stayed at the room called, Geranium, which is a type of flower. The smell of geranium made us relax and happy. But I wouldnt recommend you all to book this room. According to Agoda and the hotels website, the room is sea view but when we arrived, we discovered that we get trees as our view. The following morning, we told the staff that the room doesnt look like what we saw in Agoda. After what we told them, they moved us to a room called, Sweet Orange. The view was so much better. Some of the cons are that the breakfast was acceptable. The foods were delicious but there were not much to choose from. There were eggs, bacons, sausages, hams, soft-boiled rice, and bread. Some of the drinks are orange juice, milk, and coffee. The swimming pool was very small. It is smaller than any other hotel. You cant even call that a swimming pool, call that a fishpond! The bed was hard and uncomfortable. If you go to a hotel, you would want the bed to be soft and comfortable, but this, is unacceptable. The bed was made from normal spring. In conclusion, I wouldnt recommend this to a family with little kids. This hotel would be better for a couple. P.S. You would realized that there are more cons than pros

  Awesome stay

  The Herbs by the sea is not a hotel. It feels more like a home by the sea with a pool overlooking the sea. However, Hua Hin is not famous for beautiful beach so do not expect too much. Though I enjoyed my stay here dipping in the pool overlooking the sea and letting all my thoughts zone out. Perfect place to relax your mind, body, soul. The Herbs offers breakfast and that's the best part having breakfast by the sea. The staffs here are really friendly and helpful though they can speak only a little of English but they try their best to make you feel warm n welcomed. The hotel is abit for from the main street where the eateries and HuaHin night market are (located at the end of the road), it's about 15-20mins walk to the night market area. There will be tuk tuk going around to take you around (only 10baht), but be prepared the convenience in getting a tuk tuk is not as easy as to other tourists spots in Thailand. Anyhow, Hua Hin is a place that's really hard to travel around without renting a car or bike. The tourists spots are all very far away from each other. The hotel staffs helped us to rent a scooter for only 300baht a day which made the travel much easier in Huahin.

  Beautiful, boutique hotel

  I stayed at The Herbs for the weekend with my girfriend, We had a truely fantastic time and will certainly be returning. After the journey from Bangkok we were greeted with warm smiles and fresh, cool drinks (which was their own recipe) and shown to our 5 star room. The view out onto the ocean was just what we wanted, it was right beside the Kings residence and also next to the beach. The hotel is well positioned not too far from the centre of Hua Hin but just far enough away to have peace and quiet and the beach virtually to yourself. On our first night we ate at the hotel and were extremely impressed by the quality of the dishes and service, the staff could not do enough to make sure we were happy. I highly recommend this hotel, and will be returning in a few weeks.

  Great but!

  The hotel is well situated within walking distance of Hua Hin centre (get the bus for 10 Baht on hot days). Our room was fabulous and the staff were good (limited English). However, we had to cut our visit short as the adjoining building was being demolished with a pile driver. We had booked for six nights but left after 2 but were refunded for 5. Great place to go once the building work is finished.
