  Overall 'Good' from us!

  My partner & I stayed for 3 nights from 10th Sept. We had a twin room. The room description I would give is 'adequate'. Comfy beds, clean bathroom, generally okay but nothing to blow you away. What else do you really need! No view from rooms but my word, does the view from the bar terrace & restaurant make up for that. Lucky us arrived on 10th, weather scorching, so took our evening meal on the open terrace. I had a fish special that was absolutely superb, compliments to the chef. Breakfast choices adequate, breakfast view amazing! Overall we were very pleased. It's also an excellent base for seeing Weymouth too. Thank you Heights, it was far better than we were expecting. Not to be rude, but normally we go abroad and book 5* which just wasn't an option during Covid. I would rate your hotel during these strange times as #Staycation winner!

  Lovely setting, stunning views, friendly staff and covid aware. Room was very clean and even though no refreshments staff were happy to make drinks whatever the time of day. Food in restaurant was satisfactory, especially breakfast

  Fabulous Break

  Absolutely love it here. Staff couldn't be more helpful for even the tiniest thing. Views to die for. Excellent food and very well organised Covid rules. Heather takes time to get up but a breakfast tray with whatever she wanted was no problem.

  Excellent!

  Lovely hotel in a beautiful location! The staff were great and the hotel has well thought out Covid-19 social distancing precautions in place (as well as hand gel on every corner). The view from the restaurant was amazing, there was lots to choose from at breakfast, the room had all we needed and the bed was super comfy. We will definitely be visiting again.

  CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!

  Where can I really begin, the hotel was just amazing! There were so many different aspects that made my stay a real pleasure. Firstly I would like to begin with the staff, they were so nice, welcoming and helped with every issue we may have had. In the morning they had a bright smile on their faces to welcome us to breakfast, and loved to share their local knowledge of the area and some nice spots to go for a walk or where to eat out. Next, Breakfast was absolutely lovely, there were varied options for food and everything was very much COVID safe, with a one way system, social distancing and masks compulsory. The view is absolutely to die for, you feel as though you are at the top of the world, and looking down onto Weymouth is the best companion for some great food. I also want to say that the location of the hotel is absolutely exceptional. The view is so much better than any pictures could depict, it is in a prime location for a walk around the island of Portland or indeed to Weymouth. There are lots of shops around from lidl down the mountain to a Tesco on the island. Moving onto the rooms, we had a family room while included a room with a queen sized bed and one with two singles. The first thing that struck me was the cleanliness of the room, it was absolutely pristine. To begin with everything that we would touch and use was placed in bags ensuring that no one else had touched them. The beds the bathrooms were all completely clean. Speaking about the beds they were soo comfortable, honestly one of the best night sleeps Ive had in a while, the pillows, the duvet all contributed to the overall comfort of the room. Overall the whole room had a very comfortable feeling to it, it was really homely and a nice place to come to at the end of a long day exploring. Overall it had all the amenities anyone could wish for, a Tv in the room, a kettle, a fan and bags of tea coffee sugar and biscuits. I cant even being to describe how much this hotel surprised me, I had high expectations and the hotel went above and beyond giving me and my family a marvellous time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, looking for a nice holiday spot. I cant wait until we come back!
