  Solo One Night Stay

  Was here just for a night. Would usually get a more basic place for the evening, but they had a great deal so decided to stay here and the location was great as well. Very clean, lots of COVID precautions in place and nice employees. Had dinner at the on site restaurant as well and ate outside. Pleasant stay and would stay again.

  OK Stay in Vancouver

  When we drove up to the Heathman Lodge we had difficulty locating the registration entrance. They had blocked off that part of the driveway and set up tables outside to accommodate their restaurant. We assumed it was the restaurant entrance. We ended up calling the front desk to find the proper entrance. The staff at check-in were very nice. They assisted us with our luggage. My husband is a paraplegic and we always have to bring a lot of things with us. We went up to our room, opened the door, and were surprised to see that the room wasnt cleaned. Music was on, beds werent made and trash in the room. The clerk went downstairs to try to find us a different room while we waited in the hall. It wasnt a great first impression especially during COVID. They had also pushed a lot of furniture (couches, tables) together right outside the elevator. There were a couple of people there talking. Safety precautions werent well thought out. The room we received was comfortable. It had a microwave and min-fridge. The bathroom was ok. The toilet is too close to the sink to make for an easy wheelchair transfer. The beds were comfortable. It was close to a mall that had some items we needed so that was a plus. The best part of the stay was the staff. They were very helpful.

  One night for quick business trip.

  We stayed for one night & found this hotel to be charming & cozy. We literally did not leave our room during our stay. We had room service for dinner & breakfast & it was deliciously filling! The staff were professional & nice! Our room was clean & cozy. I would definitely recommend this place over any corporate chain hotel any day.

  Very Uncomfortable Stay

  My stay here was very uncomfortable. I expressed my concerns in an email to the general manager and the front office manager, neither of whom felt it important enough to reply to my email. Almost every housekeeper on our floor did not have their mask on or wore it improperly. There was a loud rumbling noise we heard in our room every evening, happening every 30 seconds, and I was able to record it on video. I called down to the front desk three times about it and everyone played completely dumb! The front desk person said he investigated and heard nothing. Clearly you could hear the sound in the hallway just outside our room. I told him I can send him the sound video or he can come up to the room to experience it but he didn't, just offered a room move at 10:30pm at night. We did switch rooms, but no one seemed at all interested in identifying where this disturbing noise was coming from so whoever was staying in that room wouldn't have to experience it. The sound video was attached to my email to management. Crickets. The staff is overworked and complain in earshot of guests. Mismanaged for sure.

  Valentines Day

  We been coming here every month staying 3 days or more at a time for a year now and its been great, we always get the same room and paid in advance so we make sure we get our room. Paid for 5 days and the last 2 days they moved us to a different room cuz the desk clerk messed up? The room they moved us to the heater didnt work so they had to fix it, the cleaning lady didnt vacuumed or sweep and forgot about the shampoo in the shower. Hair on the bed etc. This was our favorite place to stay until the night before Valentines Day when there was kids upstairs unattended loud running back-and-forth jumping around all night and morning didnt get much sleep Valentines Day started off bad we called and complained three times they did nothing so we had to put up with kids above us being loud. The front desk lady lied to us and said they checked out but they didnt and ruined our Valentines Day! So we probably wont be coming back here again, they should put kids on the first floor..
