  Superb

  This was our second visit to the Haytor. John and Jane are the perfect hosts. The rooms are beautifully presented and exceptionally clean. Breakfast is a delight and you will find yourself not needing to eat for rest of the day, until dinner. The lounge is ideal for relaxing and having a drink. We will be back again to enjoy John and Janes hospitality. Thank you both Lawrance and Sue.

  Very enjoyable staycation at The Haytor Hotel

  A very welcoming hotel operated efficiently by the excellent owners John and Jane. Key features are a great location, plenty of parking, comfortable, well appointed rooms and an excellent breakfast. John and Jane are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Would definitely recommend.

  Fantastic four night stay!.

  Myself and my partner stopped here for a fantastic four nights in October . We were originally going to stop in one of the larger hotels in Torquay but so glad we did not. John and Jane met us on arrival with tea and homemade cake and a cheeky early afternoon Bacardi and coke . Spotless hotel with a high quality full breakfast with many other options to choose from . Room was very comfortable and king size bed meant we had the best nights sleep ever away from home . Will we be back ?, You bet we will ! and soon hopefully .

  Fantastic stayb

  What more could you ask for... Outstanding hosts, brilliant location and of course fantastic cocktails. A B&B that I would highly recommend with modern bedrooms and a breakfast that will keep you fuelled for a day of exploring the English riviera.   A great place to stay

  I had the pleasure of staying at this B&B for 5 nights. The location is great. Near enough to the harbour area, but far enough out so you are not disturbed by people leaving pubs, etc. My room overlooked the garden to the side with a pond and several tree sculptures which were nice to look at. John and Jane who own and run the B&B are very friendly and approachable. I was impressed when I checked in and asked if there was any peppermint tea and after checking the kitchen cupboards, John went to the shop and bought some so I could enjoy a nice cuppa. You have a fantastic choice at breakfast from cereals, fruit, fruit juices, continental, to the usual British staple, The Full English which was delicious with top quality items. I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Torquay, to stay here.
