  Everything you need in one place!

  We stayed for 2 nights, attending a music event which was just up the road and would gladly stay again. The hotel is situated above it's own restaurant, where breakfast is served and it's own pub, which has entertainment at the weekend. The rooms are clean, tidy and very quite! The staff are lovely. Really friendly and welcoming, even though we arrived really late, due to travel problems, this was not an issue. The restaurant is an All You Can Eat style. Very reasonably priced and with a range of Indian Chinese and Nepalese food, a must! Even if you choose not to eat I wholly recommend you having a look at all the Nepalese and Gurkha memorabilia and artifacts, showing a history of the country and family service. Parking is free and right outside, amenities, shops, supermarket, town centre are also to hand. Blackpool South station is a 5 minute walk and the sea front and Pleasure Beach is roughly the same. All in all, a very good 2 nights stay and the place we'll come back to anytime we're in Blackpool again.

  Splendid Budget Hotel

  This place is a little gem in the south end of Blackpool. I stayed here with my husband for a couple of days. On arrival the outside looks welcoming but not many parking spaces. First come bases. The check in was done on a very professional level. We were given a key. Given directions to the room. From the stairs of the hotel they have adjacent rooms one is a bar the other a restaurant and would recommend booking the joining restaurant of all you can eat buffet. The choice is of a good and high standard of food. Waiters and waitresses were very curious and very quick to take your plate away so you just get a clean one. The bar is very cheap fir drinks and it's a comfy pleasant area to have a drink if you don't want to leave the hotel. The room was basic but the bed was comfy and storage was plenty the only down side there's not a mirror in the room only bath room so harder for the lady to do hair or make up. Small one in the bathroom but it's hard for electrical appliances to reach to see. Separate shower from the toilet. Tea coffee tray is placed in the room and a very good detailed information pack in the room. All in all I would say a lovely hotel and will be booking again 5 out of 5 brilliant place.

  Lovely all round.

  Dont normally leave reviews but I have to say every spoonful of food I ate was lovely, very flavour full. Would definitely recommend popping in if you like a taste of different foods. The drinks are cheap too which is an even bigger bonus. My partner was shocked at £3.90 for a (good) pint of moretti. Normally priced around £5/6 in London where were from. Very friendly staff, very observant and on the ball. Well done to the team at Gurkhas. X

  Highly recommended

  Stayed here with my wife and daughter for 2 nights. Room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Beds were comfy although my wife needed a second pillow, however this was provided immediately. Bathroom was also spacious and clean and the shower itself was powerful. We used the restaurant on our last night due to the weather and although buffet restaurants arent really our thing the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Its around a 5 min walk to the beach and 20 mins to the Blackpool Tower Would definitely stay again!

  Excellent

  Lovely hotel,clean comfortable room,friendly staff would definitely recommend cant fault this Hotel at all excellent location over all 10/10 for comfort and price so we will definitely be back again.
