    okay

For its price the hotel is fairly priced. Situated in the CBD offices and shops within walking distance. Parking area not very secure its along the main road infront of the hotel. Rooms are comfortable but the hotel could do better by adding tea or coffee facilities in rooms. Being close to a noisy nite club noise could be a problem at times as well as the busy road running next to the hotel. The food is okay as well as the bar. Staff are friendly and always helpful. Without air conditioners maybe it would help if there were heaters in the rooms during winter. Summer is okay because the fans are good enough .

    Bulawayo stop-over

This small hotel is much like other lodges I've stayed at previously while passing through Bulawayo - which is to say, staffed by helpful and courteous people at every level. In terms of the building itself and amenities, it is similarly typical of lodges throughout the city, being not a little run down and dilapidated, with decades old glazing, curtain fabrics and plumbing. It's easy to read all this as slightly seedy - and yet the time-warp character is almost cool, and staying here will certainly transport you back in time to the 1960s. As for the television, there is only one (South African) channel on offer, so be sure to take a book if you don't intend to spend the evening working. If you are planning to try and work, be warned that there is some kind of charismatic establishment across the road that has music pounding out an astonishing volume until about 10 pm, interspersed with equally loud shouting and sermonising (or possibly political rallying - it was difficult to tell). As it happens, though, it is not easy to escape this kind of thing in Bulawayo, and I had the same experience at a different lodge on a previous occasion. The hotel is only one minute's walk away from a truly wonderful place known as the Jairos Jiri Craft shop, which sells a wide range of craft items made by disabled people in the rural areas. (The pricing is sensible and - unusually for Zimbabwe - linked to the actual value of the US dollar.) Another five minute walk will take you to the popular street market outside the City Hall, where you can find a wider range of craft items, but will have to contend with fairly intrusive and persistent sellers. (Don't miss the beautiful little birds made by Badzirai.) Unless there is some major event going on in the city, it is usually possible to get a room as a walk-in, typically for around USD32.

Worst Hotel i have ever been to

Wifi never works. Service is extremely poor. They dont make the room or clean it because there is one chamber lady for the whole hotel. Blankets are dirty and smelly. Geyser is dead. Hotel is too old and needs renovations. Their charges are way to parallel to what they actially ght ive DONT BOOK WITH THEM, i had a spoiled bulawayo workshop experience

    not good

From the last time I was there looks like things are getting worse by the day. Their WIFI works on the reception area only - but its super fast there anyway. It was horrible that in winter this hotel had no hot water which makes the stay quite an event one would want to forget very fast. The room was averagely clean but guys you can do better. Your price for what you offer is ok but guys pple need comfort even if you raise ur prices a bit .

Old hotel with a dirty room

Could not enjoy my one night stay of stopover. The corridors leading to the room were dark. The room was very dirty and there were cockroaches all over the place. The bed was very uncomfortable. Television was not clear and wifi was not working in the room. The bathroom was dirty and it was a nightmare to bath. It was noisy outside. Check out was quick and easy.
