  El peor de los sitios calidad-precio

  Cosas Buenas: la simpatía del personal de limpieza y cafetería (que son los mismos) Malo: La mala cara con la que siempre te recibe la mujer de la recepción es lo primero con lo que te encuentras. Pagas un precio por un "resort" del cuál en la piscina nunca te puedes tumbar en una tumbona porque los clientes a las 6 de la mañana las "reservan" poniendo sus toallas encima, con lo cual nunca tienes una para relajarte después de un baño en la piscina.. La piscina tiene siempre tanto cloro que sí bares los ojos bajo el agua luego estás con los ojos mal el resto del día. Por la noche a partir de las 6.30 p.m ya no ves el agua, nunca encienden las luces d la piscina y da sensación de que esta cerrado y debes irte de allí.. La primera noche fue horrible porque tenían hospedados a chicos jóvenes que estuvieron haciendo fiesta junto a la piscina hasta las 2:00 a.m y nosotros no podíamos dormir!! Allí nadie controla a nadie y cada uno hace lo que quiere! Tuvimos qué salir a las 6 a.m para pedir silencio porque volvía a haber gente joven haciendo los locos en la piscina, El desayuno que esta incluido con lo que pagas ( la noche nos costó 1.750 baths) es mediocre, curte, pobre, hemos desayunado muchísimo mejor en sitios más económicos !! Dicen que tiene wifi, pero tienes una limitación, así que cuidado porque sí sois más de uno y además lleváis IPad o teléfonos de trabajo(como en nuestro caso) tendréis que elegir cual de vuestros teléfonos se queda sin wifi!!! Queríamos estar 7 días pero nos bastaron 2! No volveríamos. Hay sitios mucho mejores y más baratos!

  2019 trip

  went back to Green beach as we enjoyed our stay last year, and the only disappointing feature is the pool area is in need of some attention - sun beds a bit basic and limited in number pool would benifit from some repairs. but joy of joy the breakfast is much improved - thank you we stay in a delux villa - no complaints at all - even had a kettle and tea and coffee this time - great. staff are just lovely, nothing is too much troube for them, -

  Lovely place close to cave

  We stayed here 2 nights and because its low season there are very few people about making it perfectly peaceful. We had superior twin room with pool view. Pool is lovely and you can see mountains behind whilst swimming. Room is great with fridge and they have us all tea stuff/kettle. Room is clean and basic just what we wanted as out all day. Beds comfortable and have AC. Only downside is shower cut needs changing as a bit dirty in places but otherwise shower is great. Ping Pong we think he is the manager was an absolute star and treated us like VIPs given it wasnt very busy here and drove and picked us up from cave. Breakfast is great lots of choices! There is a mini supermarket on site which is very reasonably priced I have to say with basics like water/drinks/snacks/toiletries. Beach is 2 mins walk away. Ping Pong recommended 2 places to eat nearby which were both lovely and cheap! One next to dolphin resort and one named Phen. We took bikes out a couple of times too for a ride they are free to use. Wonderful place in March as nice and quiet if thats what you like - we backpacked for 10 days before we came here so was perfect to have the beach almost to ourselves! Ping Pong is perfect host and he speaks English. Other staff always very friendly. Ping Pong also helped us with onward travels plans to get back to Bangkok airport- taxi THB 2000 approx 4 hours. That is what we paid to get here too from Bangkok. So great mid range place to relax as its quiet its not s party scene place in the evenings. Beach is lovely and when you go to caves beach there is beautiful.

  Fantastic resort in a peaceful location

  I stayed here 2 nights mid week in low season expecting it to be quiet. It certainly was that and more, dead almost - not a criticism, just a surprise that there was a beach town quieter than my Ban Krut home. Being a solo female traveller relying on public transport I was a bit apprehensive about this trip as it is hit and miss in these parts as to the level of English spoken. I had some wonderful help from Khun Pong before I arrived as to where to get off the minibus in Pranburi (even if it did drop me in the wrong place) but everything worked out fine. The charge was 400 baht for a car transfer to the resort, about 20 minutes drive. Sadly I did not get to meet Pong but I did meet Looknass who is also fantastic asset to the resort. I stayed in one of the poolside bungalows. They are simply but tastefully decorated, more like a 4 star hotel. The room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon was quiet and efficient. Looknass arranged for his friend to drive me to Bang Pu village on his motorbike (300 baht) while I visited Phraya Nakhon. This was definitely a highlight for me of the 15 trips I have done to Thailand. It is so worth doing, despite the effort to get there. I was going to give this resort 4 stars until I tried the breakfast - then I had to give 5. It was sensational. I don't eat meat and can't eat wheat so if I manage to explain to breakfast staff that I just want an omelette with no meat and leave off the toast, then I am doing well. Looknass came over from reception to take my order and what I got was an omelette with the freshest side salad (which I had been craving), natural yogurt, more fresh fruit than I could eat, decent coffee and juice that was constantly refilled. This was a nice surprise given the low occupancy of the hotel I was not expecting such a healthy and fresh breakfast. Another plus of the resort was that there are bins everywhere - one side for general rubbish, the other for recycling. Not sure if this is connected to the 'green' name but it's really good to see and I wish more places in Thailand did this. The only minor gripe is the unsightly service area that you walk past as you head toward the pool - a disused bar area / staff room / linen room and store with various crap lying around outside! Other than that I absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back again.

  Gorgeous hotel in quiet beach resort

  f you want to get away from the commercial package holiday then this is the place for you . Quiet, Thai family beach resort , with minimal facilities , miles of unspoilt beaches, just you and the local fishermen and a few other independent tourists. Great cycle track along the coast and close proximity to national parks. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean with a lovely pool and breakfast area. Friendly helpful staff speaking good English. Free bikes for hotel residents to explore local area. Small family run restaurants / beach food stalls within 5 minutes walk. Four hours drive from Bangkok. .
