  Superb lunch and server

  excellent lunch. They didn't have anything on the menu i could eat being dietary specific, so the chef went out his way to make me something i asked for, and couldn't be faulted. Lovely surroundings. Took my mum and she loved it. Was a wee bit chilly, but then they have been closed. Had a limited menu, but they were willing to substitute items and work round things. Clean and the server was very polite and helpful

  High Tea

  Booked on a groupon deal for high tea. We had fish and chips then followed by cakes/scones. Great service and really nice food. Well organised for covid safety. .Waitress service was excellent in explaining and recommending food

  Easy motorway access

  Great location for tourist attractions wheel chair friendly plenty of parking spaces building and interior could do with a little TLC very friendly and helpful staff meal and breakfast very good generous helpings would recommend .

  Excellent Afternoon Tea

  Visited for a savoury afternoon tea. Great selection of savoury snacks, sandwiches, scones and cakes. Endless supply of tea and coffee. Great value for money. Pleasant surroundings and great service. Can highly recommend a visit.

  Disappointing

  Ok so coming back from a 3 week trip offshore I was forced to stay close by in a hotel while my family remained in Isolation following an outbreak of Covid. So went for the 4* Grange Manor in Grangemouth. Got to my room late afternoon and found that there was hardly any Wi-fi. Having work to do and Teams meetings this wasnt good. Called or tried to call receptionist. Phone was broken. So walked back around to speak directly. Was given a spare phone only to find out that was broken. Also asked about Wi-fi and told is wasnt working but someone was booked to come out and look at it next week. No use to me. Given a key for another room to see if Wi-fi was better there... same. So took the phone from there and solved that issue. Anyway, carpets were old and stained. Window wall paint was peeling and showed signs of mould. So went to put on my bedside lamp, didnt work. Other side did. Once in bed went to plug phone in but they dont have a socket near the bed. Even the lamp sockets werent standard UK sockets so couldnt use those. I woke up and didnt have a great sleep. Once Id got myself showered noticed why. The bed looked as though it was missing a caster and the bed and mattress werent straight. At that point made the easy decision to cancel my future stay and book elsewhere (for a better price even) and s y there for the next 5 nights. The room in particular looked old and desperate for a make over. The bathroom looked as if had been redone and quite nice, but then they fitted the old fittings to it. Rusty and tatty. The girls I spoke to at reception were fine and understanding but they could only do what they could which wasnt much to be honest. But they dealt with it professionally and courteously. Big changes needs if Im ever to recommend this place to anyone.
