  We chose this place in a real hurry from the initial tripadvisor page, £85 so must be ok, free parking, wouldnt have chosen anything without parking, close to all amenities, lovely, perfect location..brilliant! Friendly welcome... just what we needed!!! But in fact.. no free parking on site for us.. we had to park 800m away, no friendly welcome, no one was there to let us in, we had to ring a number on the door, straight to answerphone, when she did answer and I asked her where we could park, she said there was no parking for our room and that I should have read the small print! Nothing is within walking distance apart from a garage and a Dominos! The place is on a busy main road, the fan in the bathroom never goes off and the door doesnt close! The host was very unwelcoming .. sent us the wrong key code and then when we tried to call her, her phone went to answerphone again and not an apology when we did actually see her... would NEVER stay here again.

  Wonderful Stay

  We had a wonderful stay at The Grange nothing was too much trouble, friendly hospitality kind and caring. The bed and breakfast is walking distance to the harbour of Charlestown where your find great restaurants. Our room was the Boot room which over looked the lovely secluded garden. Breakfast was a feast with lots of lovely choices. We highly recommend the Grange and look forward to a return visit.

  Beautiful Stay @ the Grange :-)

  We stayed early this month and had a lovely stay. Our room was tastefully decorated with warm touches like bathrobes , tissues, toiletries. We stayed in the Loft suite which had a lovely 4 poster bed king size too plus an added bonus of a roll top bath which was lovely to relax in after a long days outing. St Austell is great for visiting places like the Eden project and Lost Gardens of Heligan together with many great coastal walks to explore. Tip eat at The Longstore in Charlestown highly recommend lovely restaurant also highly recommend the Grange B&B amazing friendly hosts! will be returning in the future!! VERY happy guests :-) :-)

  Perfect Guesthouse

  Stayed at The Grange for 6 nights & our stay was perfect. Our host Sally was lovely & very hospitable. Our room was amazing. We stayed in the Upper Deck room (a parking space is allocated to this room). The room was clean, beautiful & stylish. There was plenty of wardrobe space & drawers. The bed was very comfortable with lovely soft pillows. The room also had a large ensuite shower room. Breakfasts were great with plenty to eat.. perfect start to the day There is plenty to do & see & not too far from the Grange including the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden project and great coasts including Charlestown which also has some great restaurants . St Austell town centre isn't too far if you fancy a bit of shopping. Overall this was an excellent Guesthouse & we will definitely be coming back.. highly recommended.   Lovely place to stay...

  I stayed here with my partner and we both thought the experience was lovely, other than the fact breakfast was very intimate on the communal table with everyone else who stayed in the house and we werent allowed to sit separately to eat which we found very uncomfortable. Good price and good value for money other than that. Would stay again but get breakfast elsewhere which we did this time!
