  Excursión en familia (con perro)

  Muy buen hotel, completamente aislado de cualquier contaminación sonora. Zona muy turística, cerca de Bury St. Edmunds con excelentes conexiones con Cambridge. Muy buena atención por parte del personal, muy educados y considerados frente a todas las peticiones.

  The manager seems more interested in whether hes got your money for extras than he is for running the hotel or being a host. Shower was pitiful. Staff sit in entrance smoking. Tired and not very hospitable. Disappointing

  Let down by previous highly rated hotel

  We were let down by a previous hotel, as we had booked disabled access and there was none. So glad we found this place. I found the staff to be wonderfully accommodating and nothing was too much trouble, the food was great and breakfasts arrived on time to our room. Both rooms were clean. A great couple of nights spent here.

  Overnight stay

  My husband and I stayed here overnight, lovely old building, very quiet. Went to the bar which was a little quiet, no background music, room was nice, they werent doing breakfast due to Covid but they brought a sandwich to the room which was ok. Clean enough and staff were friendly, not bad for what we paid

  In need of a visit from Alex Polizzi!

  the room although large smelt of the very old bathroom AND HAD NO WINDOW! It was dark and dreary and there were large cobwebs on the windows that would have not taken a moment to sweep away. The decor was extremely dated and could do with an overhaul throughout the hotel with thread bear carpets and sofas. There was grass growing in the gutters and the place generally had an unloved feel about it. The dresser chair was covered in crumbs and absolutely filthy! s they advertise themselves as a wedding venue even my son who is 12 said "mummy if I had my wedding here I woudl ask for my money back". I thought they had put us in such a dreary room (room 12) as we had the dog with us. However on the sat eve coming back from the bar with the dog they proceeded to tell my partner that it would be £15 extra! GLAD WE ONLY STAYED 1 NIGHT.
