  excellent location

  Excellent location! just opposite of the station. Decided to stay here and not the popular hakone-yumoto because i wanted to visit the Fuji safari park and there's a direct bus to there from Gotemba station. There's a free shuttle bus to the outlet mall as well. I believe this location is quieter as compared to other parts of hakone, and yet still fairly easy to get to the attractions with the bus pass.

  Very Accessible

  We went for two day shopping at Gotemba Outlet and chose this hotel for night hold. Very accessible as it is just few meters from the station. If accessibility is what you are looking for then look no further. However, it is not some kind of luxury hotel. It has very small decently cleaned rooms with the required amenities and thats it. Overall 3/5

  WORST SERVICE HOTEL IN JAPAN

  On early arrival at Gotembakan Hotel in Gotemba Japan, we were shocked when told to keep our luggages at the bag lockers in the train station across the road. The senior reception staff were not helpful which is surprising for Japan. We also found out that it was low season and there were only few checkins that day. Everyone loves going to Japan because people are friendly BUT definitely not at this hotel!

  Nothing good. Only location.

  Choosing this hotel is totally a Terrible mistake. Awful service was all We got. We didnt do anything wrong,we just got there!!! But the way they treating us, was like we did something wrong. The most unacceptable thing was their bad attitude. All I can say is that Im very very disappointed and choosing this hotel was totally a bad choice.

  Convenient location and helpful staff

  If you're visiting this area this hotel is as central as possible. The rooms are larger than the Japanese average. However, be warned that the video on demand is actually only a choice of two channels one of which is terrible Japanese porn. Don't waste 1000 yen.
