  17th Century Luxury

  We have just come back from spending two nights here it is a lovely B&B with the best breakfast ever its a little pricey but you get what you pay for, Francesco the owner could not do enough for you and the room was lovely one of the best places we have been and loved every min there.

  Immaculate!

  I am writing this review on behalf of my parents (who are not registered with Tripadvisor). They stayed at The Glove House for two nights in December - in the Bladon room. This is a truly beautiful bed and breakfast in a gorgeous town house in the centre of Woodstock. The property has been tastefully renovated to an exceptional standard of comfort. The furnishings in the room were lovely, the bathroom spectacular and spotless. The breakfast is served in a gracious dining room with beautiful cutlery and crockery and a lovely choice of croissants, home-made bread, yoghurt, muesli, cereal and some delicious cooked items including the famous Italian scrambled egg. My parents found their whole stay faultless in every way - they loved it!

  Outstanding

  Treat yourself to a spectacular stay! Cant say enough about the Glove House. Warm inviting rooms. Luxurious touches such as fresh flowers, premium linens, elegant china and beautiful antiques. Breakfast was fantastic. All around amazing experience

  A perfect stay

  Having read the reviews we were not sure the Glove House could be so good, but we were not disappointed. A lovely welcome from our host and an exceptional suite awaited us. The breakfast the next morning was wonderful, served with plenty of locally sourced produce. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend.

  High quality base for our Oxfordshire adventure

  We stayed for two nights in the Bladon suite at Glove House in March 2020. The suites as other guests have attested to exuded luxury with antique furniture, boutique high quality finishes, premium bed linen, towels and toiletries. In our suite we also had a wide selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate as well as still and sparkling water available and a good variety of biscuits. The attention to detail really is first class and there were additional touches to make our stay more comfortable including an array of current magazines with a cosy reading corner and much to my delight bubble bath to use in the roll top bath! Where Glove House really does shine though is through the owner Francesco who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and continued to be a superb host throughout our stay. On our arrival he brought us a pot of tea with delicious cake and gave us some recommendations for where to eat in the village that night (we dined at the Black Prince which wed recommend). Francesco also checked each night if we wanted fresh milk to be left in our room so we could make tea/coffee. The breakfast each morning was also wonderful, served in a gracious dining room with beautiful cutlery and crockery and a lovely choice of croissants, home-made bread, yoghurt, muesli, cereal and some delicious locally sourced cooked items, not forgetting Francescos famous Italian scrambled egg, which you absolutely must try! Francesco, we cant thank you enough for making our stay in Oxfordshire one to remember, well be recommending Glove House to our friends and family, and hope to stay with you again when we next visit the area!
