  Great Place To Stay

  We traveled here for a family weekend in Blackpool for the illuminations and pleasure beach. We booked 3 rooms and each was lovely with lots of little extra touches the breakfast was the best weve ever had in a B&B, parking was free John who was a great host even let us leave our car there on our day of departure until we finished our shopping in the city centre. I would definitely recommend this B&B and would certainly stay again if we return to Blackpool.

  Best stay ever!!!

  This is now our 3rd time staying at the glen house and we cant say enough great things!! Jamie at the front desk went out of her way to make our stay special!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. Rustic luxury at its finest!!

  'Lovely and welcoming stay"

  Had a wonderful weekend break here. Warm welcome from John,who is the perfect host! Made a lovely breakfast,best we've tasted in a long while! We would highly recommend here,look forward to visiting again.

  Hidden gem of a guest house.

  What a find! Perfect guest house. Host John is lovely, friendly funny and nothing is to much trouble. We were given the choice of two rooms on arrival and both were equally outstanding. We made our choice simply because it was on flight of stairs less! Everything you would need is provided. Above and beyond. Spotless clean. All top quality product's. Breakfast is one of the best we have had. Everything hot well cooked and prompt. It is totally obvious that John loves his job the time and love he puts into this gem of a place is plain to see. It was his first weekend open after lock-down but you never have guest. Professional but yet very friendly. WE WILL BE BACK!

  Very pleasant and comfortable stay

  My husband and I stayed at The Glen Guest House for 4 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were booked for three nights but enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed another night which was no problem to our hosts John and Tony. We stayed in room 3 which is a deluxe double. The room was small but had a large en suite shower room. The bed was really comfortable. The only distraction was the blue stand by light on the small tv opposite the bed but I suppose we could have unplugged the tv overnight. There was tea and coffee making facilities including a Tassimo coffee machine. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. John even left a bottle of fizz on ice for us which was a lovely touch. Everything seemed really clean. Breakfast was at either 8.30 or 9.30 and cooked to order from a menu which had been emailed for us the first night we arrived. The breakfast was hot and very tasty. The location was perfect just minutes from the prom between Central and South piers. There is a small car park with a space for each of the six rooms. John and Tony were great hosts and being dog lovers we got to know Millie and Toby the two westies who greeted us enthusiastically when we came back to the guest house. If we have another visit to Blackpool we would definitely book again !!
