  Hotel cómodo y con habitaciones preciosas

  Es la tercera vez que utilizo este hotel para hacer gestiones personales por la zona. Cranbrook es un pequeño pueblo de la zona de Kent. El trato, inmejorable. Es gente cercana y siempre dispuestos a ayudarte. Cada habitación es distinta, espaciosas, agradables y con un claro sabor inglés-rural

  Fabulous Four Poster Bed

  We booked at random having struggled to find anywhere for a last minute break and were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Yes, parts of it could do with upgrading but we had booked a Feature Room based on the pictures on the website and we got the Crimson Room which has the most amazingly comfortable Four Poster bed, a lovely bathroom with double ended claw footed bath and super wonky floors. Sharon, who checked us in, and looked after us in the restaurant on the first night was super friendly and went out of her way to help. Food in the restaurant was tasty and plentiful both at dinner and at breakfast time. Extra bottles of water were provided for our room for overnight at our request. We slept well, the bed was very comfortable and although there were drinkers in the bar and outside on the street the noise quietened down early and didn't disturb us. Our only gripes really were the size of the car park - totally inadequate - and getting charged £5.20 for a pint of Coke. We were told this was on tap but it was charged as 16 ounces plus a 330ml bottle.

  Good One Night Stay

  My stay at The George in Cranbrook for 1 night was good, no real issues at all. The hotel is welcoming and the room was a good size, clean with a comfy bed. A few quirky passageways up to the room which adds to the fun. Reception check in was excellent, a very helpful lady who was smiley and chatty. Bar staff were pleasant and attentive, food was nicely cooked and fairly big portion size too. With the room window open there was some noise from an extractor fan, but nothing excessive and this was turned off after 9pm anyway. A good solid hotel which does the job perfectly well. Would stay again no problem.

  Overnight stay on walking tour

  Cranbrook as a town seemed a bit downmarket compared with Tenterden, however the George is a classic old country inn. Doing a decent job coping with the COVID rules with one way systems and screens. Inevitably it means that it's a bit more difficult to just have a quiet drink. We ate in the hotel - food was decent but not memorable, menu is a bit too long perhaps. Wine reasonably priced. Room was decent size, bed comfortable. Clean. View over a vacant building site unfortunately. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Staff very friendly.

  Amazing hotel !!!

  We stayed here for 2 nights just to get away. The hotel was very clean and the staff were amazing !! Food and drink were top class. There's not really much to do in Cranbrook so you need a car to visit places but i would definately return to The George. Thankyou for your hospitality
