  Peaceful & Serene

  I stayed at The Fern Samali, Dapoli from 19th Feb - 22nd Feb, 2021. We had booked Aster Room at the hotel. The stay was really good. The resort is located at a comfortable place from Dapoli's Centre. The staff at Fern Samali, Dapoli is amazing. Special mention goes for Ms Pooja. She made us fully comfortable, assisted us in planning our trip in & around Dapoli and also gave all the information about the Resort. She made us feel at home away from home. Lets Scroll for some good points about the Resort: 1. Good Location 2. Great Staff 3. Good Food. 4.Clean Rooms. Special Mention must be made for the safety & alertness shown about Covid related issues. The resort authorities have given special attention to these details. Lets look into some not so good aspects: 1. Food ordered in the restaurant takes very long time to be served. 2. The most important aspect is that we were given 2 single beds which were joined together. The staff said that all rooms are like that. This is really surprising since hotel website and other booking platforms show 1 Double Bed. This aspect made our stay in the room uncomfortable. But even in this the staff made it a point to do whatever was possible to make things comfortable. 3. The pricing is a little on the higher side. Overall i would rate the Fern Samali 3.8/5 stars.

  Excellent stay at Fern Samali Resort Dapoli !

  Stayed for one night and place is really good and clean. Close to Ladghar beach and Dapoli city centre. We stayed in Lilian cottage and cleanliness of the room is spot on. Food has good variety and staff here is very courteous, making the stay memorable. Will definitely visit again !

  Memorable holiday at Fern Samali Dapoli

  We visited Fern Samali Resort Dapoli on 5th March 2021 for 3 nights. Its a beautiful resort ,well maintained in the lap of nature. A little secluded from d main town. The checkin and checkout was smooth, the rooms look same as shown in their website. We chose to stay in 2 Aster rooms and they gave us an upgrade for one room to our surprise. The entire resort staff was very polite and courteous. Very prompt service. Thanks to Ms Nasima and Mr. Dheeraj. In room dining also was good.. no complaints.. they had a great breakfast spread with extremely helpful staff maintaining basic covid precautions ( ofcourse u cannot expect to maintain social distance if you want to holiday during covid).. There's lovely, clean, non crowded beach which is 15 mins drive from the resort. There's a famous Ganapati temple, Pershuram statue and other clean beaches around an hour away. Overall we had a great experience.

  Average Holiday

  We booked with fern samali for 2N & 3D as it was our parents birthday & we wanted them to take a break from the daily routine. We confirmed our booking in advance with Mr. Dheeraj & I informed him about my parents birthday & asked him if he can make any special arrangements, to which he said their in house bakery is not operational & so they can do some decorations at an extra charge, which did not make sense for us as we can also put up balloons & flowers & we won't even have to pay 1000Rs for it . Coming to the food, we had taken the package inclusive of breakfast which was quite average in terms with fern standards, they really need to work on it, also they kept cold cuts like salami on a plate instead of ice which was kept open for som many hours contracting bacteria.. We had dinner at Zhilian 1 night & it was quite average, the portion size was extremely poor & the prices are exorbitant. When we told our server about the portion size he said 'OF COURSE'. So we ditched having dinner here the next night & tried another restaurant near karde beach. The receptionist Miss Nikita was nice & helpful. Also we had our pet, for which they charge 1500Rs plus taxes and they provide food & bedding, but they forgot to provide food for our pet & so they adjusted the amount accordingly. So if you are bringing your pet please carry their food. We were booked in Magnolia cottages, which were nice & cozy, the house keeping department is good with their services. Coming to SPA you guys can try their massages but skip the Jacuzzi, the water was boiling hot, & the jacuzzi is placed inside an enclosed room which was suffocating and I had to again and again go to Mr.Puneet asking for AC remote. They charge 900Rs per person for jacuzzi for 20 minutes. He did not bother switching on the AC, it was scorching hot inside plus the water was boiling, I understand that the jacuzzi water is meant to be warm-hot but that's if your surroundings are comparatively cooler. At the end we came out in 15 minutes out of which 8-10 minutes were wasted in asking him to switch on the AC, get water. It was very very unpleasant & he did not care about it. You can totally skip the SPA. My mother & brother went for full body massages which according to them were ok. Also the beaches are literally 15-25 minutes drive from the property, they have an Mango orchard where you can just drive by, overall you can totally give this property a miss & stay at some other hotels/resorts at Ladhgar beach & Karde beach.

  Good stay with good food and service

  I visited this place for 3 nights, with my friend. I must say the restaurant staff is very hard working, mr.vijay, tejas and team gave us awesome jain food and made sure it reached on time to us. They also arranged all proper food as requested for my infant child and 4 yr daughter and my friends 4 yr old son. The staff is very hard working . except Mr maruti who gave some troubles. Mr.dheeraj and ms.pooja from reception were very co operative and helpful. Ms pooja arranged karoke room for us specially. Mr. Dheeraj is a gem of a person if any guests face any problem just go to him he will solve it asap. Also wen we had early morning 5am check out they arranged milk for kids even when restaurant was closed I really appreciate efforts for guest satisfaction. The property is nice, chafa,ratrani and many other flowers u will find inside property. Hospitality I rate 5 star in this property. I stayed at aster room 6 which has a beautiful sunrise view. I request the management to chk and upgrade door locks since they are outdated. I did not went to spa since I wanted a better deal, but my friend enjoyed the spa. I wish to visit this property again in the near future.
