  Factor's is the Finest

  From the moment you book to that moment of sadness as you depart, the Factor's House is simply the finest B&B experience you will ever have. As your host, Fiona delivers a service that is impossible to fault. The location, the house, the rooms, the service, the food are all sublime. The decor and furnishings betray Fiona's interior design skills and background. It is stylish, luxurious, tasteful but above all, comfortable. It is impossible to rate the Factor's House too highly. These are difficult times but Fiona has adopted Covid-19 protocols that are thorough and reassuring yet sensitively done. But don't read my review, experience it yourself. Book today.

  Great accommodation in beautiful house and grounds in Cromarty. Tasty home made breakfasts in well proportioned dining room. Tasteful decor in sizeable bedrooms with huge bathrooms. Drinks on the lawn - along with the odd deer. Fun walk into town. Recommended

  Faultless

  Fiona sets a benchmark, that others should aspire to. Our only regret was that we stayed only for one night. Our room was beautiful and there were lots of extras, chocolate, biscuits, fresh fruit. Simple touches such as a four port USB charger, shows the attention to detail. We had an excellent breakfast, and great plate of meats and cheese, for dinner. The views from Factors House are amazing. If anyone planning to see what perfection is, they should book in and see Fiona.

  Best B&B ever!

  We had such a lovely stay at the Factor's House despite it being in the middle of the current Covid restrictions. The Covid measures taken made you feel very safe with temperature checks on arrival and masks worn and sanitiser available. The room that we had was stunning and very comfortable (plus there was complimentary fruit and delicious shortbread) and a welcome home from home to return to each night and the meals were amazing with the ingredients all locally sourced and so fresh. The steak that we had on the last night was better than any that I have had anywhere else. The breakfasts were worth looking forward to too, with a great selection but to get the most of your stay you must have dinner at least one night. The other factor (sorry for the pun) that makes this such a special place is the welcome provided by the owner, Fiona. She was so friendly and helpful without being obtrusive at all but when you asked her about anything she was full of suggestions - several times we mentioned places that we'd like to visit and she told us of two or three other things to do or places to visit on the way. There is absolutely loads to do in this area and The Factor's House is the perfect base. We will be back!

  Amazing

  We stayed here on the night of our wedding and absolutely loved everything about it. The rooms were finished to a high standard and everything was spotlessly clean. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Breakfast the next day was beautiful and you can't beat the view. We will be back for sure, even though we stay locally!!
