2 Day Trip into NorthumerlandBoth Debs and Bill, the owners of the Estate House welcomed us warmly. A pre arrival call to Debs helped her with arrangements and on arrival we we introduced to the COVID operating processes that were followed throughout. The room was very clean and well made. The en-suite was a little low on shower pressure, but otherwise more than adequate for our needs. The house facilities, book cases and furnishings offer so much to read, eye or simply relax in. Of note was the the separate contained jug of milk, a small but professional touch and so much better than plastic sachets, on the second day this was conveniently left at the room door for our return. Breakfast is a hit ... made to order and of high quality (poached eggs were spot on). All in a socially distanced, yet engaged manner. Thank you Bill and Debs for your hospitality, tips on local sights, a little history and Bill for the best route home to avoid the Google routed A1 (saved us probably around an hour as we joined just south of a traffic jam). No photos taken, didnt feel i needed to. Stay and enjoy.

A perfect stayAs a family weve visited Northumberland lots of times. This was our first visit to the Estate House. Its set in the lovely quiet village of Ford, which is a short drive away from most of the main attractions of Northumberland. We stayed three nights, we were absolutely thrilled to bits with everything. The owners Bill and Debs pulled out all the stops to make sure we wanted for nothing. The breakfast was fabulous, all local fresh produce. The garden area is just a beautiful space with fruit trees and even chickens. The B&B is perfect for everyone its also pet friendly. We cant recommend this enough. Thank you both so much for your kindness.

Northumberland GemThe truly beautiful villge of Ford is a very quiet relaxing place with its thrilling views across to the Cheviots from the historic church, its honey-coloured grand castle, the unique Lady Waterford Hall - and the Estate House B & B. Bill and Debs are very welcoming to their visitors. The rooms are large, traditional and comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic. Throughly recommended!

Hidden gemTwo couples and one Alaskan Malamut called in for lunch, superb crab sandwiches! Excellent welcome and plenty of goodies for Holly dog. Their dog Rupert had his heart set on Holly, but holiday romances rarely work! We will return, but in the meantime thank you.

Deborah GoodeStayed here on route to Scottish Highlands 5th September 2020. Lovely friendly Hosts Debs & Bill. Rooms large with lovely views across the gardens. It is actually situated in the grounds of an Estate so very quiet & pretty. The breakfast was excellent. Nothing too much trouble. Tea & Prosecco served to us in the garden. Thank you Debs & Bill.
