  Amazing Stay

  We rented the the Chimney Rock River Cabin for 5 adults for 3 nights and couldnt be happier. The house was immaculate with a breathtaking view out back... it was very clean and more then we expected. We had breakfast every morning at Esmeralda Inn which we loved and also one dinner which was top notch. I would recommend this resort to anyone. We were treated very well and staff wore mask and were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again !

  Finally warmed up to this place

  Honestly, I had really high expectations for my first visit. Some said it was the mini Grove Park Inn...it's not. However, it's not without it's charm. The staff was fantastic, friendly and professional. Cons: restaurant not open sunday and monday, kinda have to fend for yourself.. Rooms very small and expensive $300 per night , smaller than my guest room at home Spa - was thinking massage ($250 for 2 hours) with all the compliments.Rather than just a few rooms converted with massage tables View - mountain view room but the TV was in front of the window hindering any kind of view... Pros: Staff - very friendly, more so than other places we visited in CR Charm - after a bit I got over myself and just started to feel comfortable - after all it's an Inn built at the turn of the century...

  Getaway

  We went for a getaway to The Esmerslda and was thoroughly delighted. Very relaxing 3 days at the inn. We found the staff to be very accommodating during our stay. The restaurant was excellent , the chef fantastic and wait staff a delight. There were no concerns with covid and the inn, rooms and restaurant were well maintained. We encourage all to go and enjoy The Esmeralda Inn.

  First class Inn

  We had the opportunity to stay here during their special, $99/night which included a home-made breakfast. Take a look at the website for the lobby area. It's just as pretty as the pictures and with a fire going it was nice and cozy. We were shown to our room by the desk clerk, showing us the amenities on the way. The room and bed were comfortable. There is a game room on the second floor with a pool table, game tables, etc. Breakfast is served from 8:30-10 and was awesome. Upon giving our room number, we were seated in the dining room next to the window which has a great view. The breakfast menu was on the table along with fresh flowers. Our waitress was so attentive and left us wanting for nothing. We had bread pudding, pancakes, sausage patties and a fruit cup. Way more than I could eat but it was wonderful.

  Romantic Inn

  This place has a magical atmosphere. We had a wonderfully romantic trip. Ellie showed us around and was so kind. Everyone was very accommodating. A delicious breakfast was included,and our server Susannah was awesome. The Chef, John, is outstanding. We had dinner in the dining room and it was seriously one of the best meals Ive ever had. We can't wait to go back. We had the large hot tub all to ourselves and it was so relaxing with a great view. Can't wait to go back!
