  Superb property; wonderful management and staff; great experience

  If it were possible to award more than five stars, The Empress of Little Rock would get them! When looking for a hotel in Little Rock, I was intrigued by what I read about The Empress. While I could have found a hotel for a cheaper price, I decided to treat myself and stay here instead. I was not disappointed. The building is beautiful, with its old-style furnishings being well maintained. You can have fun just wandering around to look at different rooms. Dont miss the room up the top with the card table and stained glass windows. The owners and the staff members are very friendly, and they also helped me with Little Rock tips. The breakfast in the morning is really good. Im usually not a breakfast person when I travel, but it was worth taking the time to have breakfast here! While its possible to stay closer to downtown Little Rock, I had no problems getting around with Uber/Lyft, so the location was not an issue for me. I highly recommend The Empress if you would like to stay somewhere that is an experience in itself rather than a generic hotel.

  Beautiful house and amazing hospitality

  We went to Arkansas on a baby moon (the last trip of just the two of us before our daughter is born). Neither one of us had ever stayed at a bed and breakfast, but when I saw photos and read reviews of The Empress I had to stay here myself. It exceeded all of our expectations! We stayed in the Majestic Suite, and it was absolutely lovely. My husband is still raving about how comfortable the bedding was. I have a gluten allergy, and so instead of biscuits and gravy for breakfast Keith made me gluten free waffles - my husband rightly said, "you just made her day with this." The property is absolutely stunning. Staying here was the highlight of our time in Little Rock. Would recommend to anyone!

  FABULOUS B&B

  We were greeted by Antonio when we arrived. He showed us around and gave us some interesting information and history about this beautiful home. He and his partner have done an exquisite job of refurbishing and decorating this Gem. Our room was the most gorgeous (James Hornibrook Room) and decked out in fabulous antiques with rich upholstered comfy furniture. Antonio invited us to explore to our hearts delight. A delicious breakfast was served on the veranda on fine China and lace table clothes. It was a little slice of heaven. This is definitely the finest B&B weve ever had the pleasure of visiting after 7 years of traveling to and from The New England area. Little Rocks Hornibrook Mansion/Empress of Little Rock has them beat!

  The Enchanting Empress of Little Rock

  Superbly decorated for the Holidays, we truly enjoyed our stay at the Inn. Wake up to a scrumptious breakfast served on the veranda overlooking the well manicured lawn and gardens. The inns china, crystal and fabulous artwork compliments each of the Inns well appointed rooms. Of course we love the Carriage Houses Majesticroom, is reminiscent of the Old Hollywood era, simply romantic. This particular room has a added bonus of being a pet friendly room. Its situated next to a gated yard with a grotto, a stain glasses temple and beautiful zen gardens. Antonio and Keith are the inn keepers who take every imaginable step to keep this historic mansion in tip top shape.

  Wonderful Stay

  We had a wonderful stay at The Empress. Antonio was a pleasure to visit with and a wonderful host. The Hemingway Suite was a restful retreat. Breakfast was perfect. Looking forward to our next visit, hopefully in the spring so we can enjoy the porch more.
