  Lovely hotel

  Great position, at the edge of town, beautifully kept inside and out. The gardens and pool were beautiful. We had a fabulous view of the bay. Very good breakfast and staff were lovely. Lisa, the owner was a star.

  Absolutely Perfect Hotel And Location

  I stayed at the hotel in August with my husband and daughter .My bedroom was absolutely gorgeous and very very clean I had a double room with en-suite and the toilet and shower were absolutely gleaming my daughter had the single room next door which also had an en-suite and was absolutely gleaming.The hotel is a short walk into town and a couple of minutes from the train station (never heard any noise from the trains) the beds were sooooo comfortable we all slept great and the area was very quiet we never heard any noise of the traffic etc and we slept with the windows open.The breakfast at the hotel is delicious and served fresh and hot and the portions are great .The owner Lisa is a wonderful and very well travelled lady who is always laughing and is very helpful and friendly nothing is to much trouble she works so hard and so does the rest of the staff.Thank you Lisa for a wonderful holiday we are missing you already and also missing our nighttime chats .Take Care Liz , Charlie ans Shannon xxx.

  4 day break

  Fab. Clean. Lovely host. No fault to be found. This place is spotless. No worries here. Pool and garden very nice. Bar will open if you request. Full english breakfast. Staff are very polite. Thank you.

  Holiday Base

  This was our third stay at this lovely friendly hotel, Liza and her team are the perfect hosts. The rooms and communal areas are always clean and tidy, outside gardens and pool area are quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is excellent and nothing is any trouble for Liza, Can't wait to go back!!

  STUNNING

  Liza is a one off!We stayed at the beginning of August during the heatwave.If every hotelier had the same amount of passion as she does,hospitality will recover very soon.The grounds are immaculate with Kew Gardens range and detail! The bedrooms,breakfast room,and lounges are all superbly kept and pristine.To top it off there is even an outside heated pool which we used every day.Another plus is a five minute walk to Torquay`s main railway station. The promenade and beach is also 5-10 mins away.Her hidden gem is a well stocked bar in the lounge which sadly not many guests avail thenselves of. She even gave us a grear Restaurant tip one evening at the nearby Grand which didn`t disappont.We will be back!!
