  Very nice

  This place is a remodeled motor lodge and while it may still look like a motor lodge on the outside, you will step into the room and think that you are at a boutique hotel! Our room was very clean, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The person who checked us in was very friendly. This place is right across Smith college. This motel and area overall seem very minority friendly and it was comforting. We did stay here while it was pretty warm, so it was a really nice walk to the shopping areas. It was probably around a 10-15 minute walk. We enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back.

  Ellery Fall 2020

  It was our first time as guests at The Ellery but it was a very positive experience. Guests should make sure that if you do not want to get your key out of the lockbox you need to read all of your emails and call to ensure someone will be at the front desk for a cut off check in time. Our host was very accommodating and friendly even during our late hour arrival. Rooms have been recently renovated and decor is tasteful and simple. Beds are very clean and comfortable. Everything you need and nothing you don't.

  Great room

  Great little brick hotel in Northampton where we went for an anniversary overnight. Quaint and cozy. Just up the street from downtown, by Smith College. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Recommend.

  Rejuvenated stay in Northampton

  With the Northampton Inn closed for Covid, the Ellery is the next-best option. Redone completely from its days as the Autumn Inn, its rooms respond instantly to heat/cooling adjustments, the decor is sleek and modern, the bedding is superlative, the lounge/breakfast area fireplace cozy. The breakfast is ok too, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. All in all an excellent choice.

  Northampton for the holidays

  The Ellery is a quaint, exceptionally clean and safe hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating for any needs. I would return here in a heartbeat, price was great. Comfortable beds and bathrooms were spotless! Thank you for a nice visit. See you again in the spring! Stay healthy!
