  Affordable luxury

  Situated right on the Fitzroy river surrounded by quality restaurant choices, surprisingly lush scenery this hotel was a genuine surprise packet. The final stay on a 3 week road trip, I anticipated that this would just be a comfortable spot to stopover. Instead the Edge was one of the best stays of the trip. The fully equipped one bedroom apartment was super spacious (the kind of living space most 3 bedroom apartments have), clean, private and actually quite luxurious. Huge balcony, big shower, ice cold air conditioning and the list goes on. As youd expect in an apartment building, the pool is very small (only big enough for one person to swim laps in). Id be concerned about the amount of room for swimmers on a hot Rockhampton summer day but you cant expect much more. Overall fantastic.

  Family Holiday

  Other apartment management should emulate Tony and his staff at The Edge Apartments. We were a family group with some specific requirements and found Tony and his staff went out of their way to assist us to be comfortable. Our family group had a one bedroom and a two bedroom river view apartment. The balconies were large with lovely views from both. The apartments are spacious, clean and well set up. Air conditioning is installed in both the living area and bedroom. Good sized towels and Sukin toiletries in large dispensers were provided in the bathrooms and there was plenty of washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets in the kitchen. The apartments were serviced daily which I really appreciated. Location is great - walking distance to the town centre and an even shorter walk to Coles and Target. I can highly recommend The Edge.

  Memorable Short Stay

  We really didnt have high expectations for this stay as we were simply looking for a place to rest our heads after a long days drive. An unexpected upgrade, great service and beautiful location changed our mindset entirely. We will be back for more.

  WOW WOW Great place to stay Excellent Staff

  We Arrived in Rockhampton to book our usual Motel on the main road through but they were booked out so we started to google and ask where we could find an upmarket motel for the night . bearing in mind we had 5 adults traveling and a car trailer WOW THE EDGE had all the answers . great staff so helpful excellent chose of rooms (i suggest the top floor ) great value for money and i did say helpful stay The General Manager Tony Cullen was excellent (helpful ,Professional, Friendly ) We now Know our stop over place in Rocky Tony and staff keep up the excellent work and thank you

  Great place to stay

  As an intermittent visitor over the last few months I highly recomm end The Edge. Very comfortable 2 BR apartment in the CBD overlooking the beautiful river, and just a stroll away from river walk, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping centre, and specially stores. The great 24/7 staff were always so helpful. A special shout out to hard working Hotel Manager Tony who was also so helpful. Enjoy your stay folks.
