Waste of money and timeI stayed with my friend - in two different bay watch huts. It is grave mistake we booked it since other resorts were not vacant. The reception was unfriendly and the road to the huts were full of humps and downs. The pathway lights to huts did not work and the staff did not have torch. We used mobile phone lights. Power went off in the midnight but came soon. No privacy. The Vans are not fit to run on roads but are operated to pick and drop the guests inside. The buffet breakfast is very poor and the tea was reheated to loose it's flavor.only satisfaction - the beach is very near to walk along. But it is a very expensive walk. Poor maintenance. Sorry..no recommendations. We wasted our money and time there. Dr S Gowri Chennai

A stay close to natureWe keep coming to this place again and again. This resort has a concept of village environment with modern stay facility with air conditioning. Positives: 1. Rooms are quite big surrounded by nature. Every room has a different theme. 2. One can have a walk in this huge property in a safe and secured environment even at late nights. 3. Clean Beach right next to it. 4. They grow crops in-house and have a nice cow shed. 5. Peaceful with birds chirping all the time. 6. They provide bi cycles inside the property. 7. Have a nice play area for kids. Not so positive: 1. Though in our room the bathroom was big with bathtub, the flush was leaking all the time. 2. Variety of food can be improved. 3. We took two rooms, one was good but the other one didnt had the bathtub and not so good even though we paid same tariff for both.. Overall a good experience and its a concept of the place and nature due to which we keep coming here !!

Good private beach - Very bad foodWe stayed here in August 2019. We are four families with 6 kids [8 to 2 years]. The resort has a nice private beach and that was good. The service staff are very attentive. But the food here is pathetic. We stayed for 2 nights and we did not like even a single meal. We started taking food outside from the second day. People travelling with kids do note this.

Horrible experience stay in courtyard roomPro: very large spacious rooms. Cons: 1. Extremely untrained, mis managed staff. 2. Huge property but no way for access to disabled people or people with walking problem. There are no in property transit mechanism. 3. They charge 5 star money, but even basic amenities in room are missing. No in room coffee/tea. Drinking water was tap water not packaged, no bathtub, showers barely had water pressure, like it was barely dripping. Soap and shampoo refills were done in house in uncapped bottles, which seemed dirty. Had to ask for dental kit specifically. 4. Restaurant took almost 3 hours to give lunch while we were sitting in , not in room. I mean our people had to literally go themselves to check what was the delay. 5. Cook was using same utensil to cook veg and non veg dish. Huge deal breaker for pure vegetarians. 6. Serving staff did not know which dish they had brought in, they served non-veg item to our veg guests. 7. Portion of food on plate is extremely small, as compared to price they charge. 8. Unkept private beach, it was dirty, not like a private property. 9. Same category rooms had varied designs, e.g. we had 6 courtyard rooms, and each had a different bathroom design, 2 of them being so small, that you could barely stand. 10. View from the bedroom window of courtyard rooms, is almost like a dump yard, with all the plastic waste scattered and no view at all. 11. Resort approach from road has no indication to turn, not only you miss, even Google map takes you via wrong directions so beware. Stayed in january 2021

Nice stay, close to natureWe were looking for a place exactly like this and which is pet friendly too. Overall good experience - highlights: Sprawling 30+ acres area with lot of trees and plants, excellent staff(polite, helpful) and proximity to the beach. Due to Covid times, lot of good things were not accessible - swimming pool, pottery, Yoga center etc..). We enjoyed the morning walks and time spent on beach. Experience could've been better, given the price we payed (higher side !)...there were quite a few issues as well-....may be because of lack of staff during covid, for example electric switches in cottages, lock at the door, taps not working properly...and bit disappointing was beach area was not cleaned, even though we were told its a private beach. It appeared that maintenance not being done properly. Food at restaurant was ok, if not great , staff was very courteous. We liked the 'no wastage' philosophy at the restaurant - a message from Pope displayed in teh restaurant area on food wastage. That was good. However, we observed staff on one of the days, at live counter during breakfast not wearing masks..which was little worrisome...optically it gives satisfaction to guests if precautions are taken...guests have taken risk to come out and stay at these places, in such pandemic times. Overall it was nice...particularly option to have pets.
