  brilliant weekend

  we stayed at the Driftwood 3 nights this month, what a gem .we booked in july as not gone away this year ! we love cornwall anyway, but everything was perfect ,covic in mind the whole place is working well, arrows on the outside to find ladies at the other end of building ,without having to pass others,food was brilliant, booked a slot for breakfast time all picked from a menu the night before,such a good choice, evening meals good also,fully recommend the Driftwood Spars, we will go back .The staff are a credit to the place also. thankyou for a brilliant weekend 11th -14 sept

  We wont be back!

  Stopped here for a sunny drink on our way back up from the beach. What a ridiculous palaver! You are handed a list of instructions on walking in the door and told to order your drinks on line like a takeaway. It took 10 minutes to navigate through all the questions the site asks you for - we nearly gave up and left. Theyve got this very wrong. COVID will be the excuse but other pubs manage to take your drinks order at the table with a polite smile and a bit of a chat. Not here it seems. Hospitality is dead.

  Wonderful food, served by friendly and helpful staff

  We had a long coastal walk as a family and by chance came across the Driftwood Spars. We went in for a late lunch and had a fantastic meal, served by very friendly, helpful and pleasant staff. Great tea and coffee, wonderful fish and chips - thin, crispy batter, amazing fish and the most tasty homemade tartare sauce and minted mushy peas. My daughter had sausages and mash, again fantastic. Good Covid procedures in place too and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!

  Fantastic Stay

  Stayed three nights. Stayed in room 10 which has two bedrooms and a lounge area. Ate in the restaurant twice, both meals excellent. Fabulous breakfast with lots of options. Great selection of beers and guns in the bar!

  Fantastic

  We cant recommend this hotel and their staff enough! Amazing position, well equipped and comfy rooms. Fabulous food whilst still maintaining a traditional Cornish Pub feel. Great beer. We got married eventually on Saturday after many changes because of COVID. Lily, Natasha, Louise and the whole team made our wedding perfect and all our guests had a fabulous weekend, even with social distancing and COVID restrictions in place. Attention to details and our every request accommodated, without question. Fantastic awesome .... Thank you, Thank you and see you soon
