  Trip to nowhere

  Truly a great place to stay while in Lewes or nearby. The young lady was very pleasant and accommodating, very clean and comfortable room with a full kitchen, cooking utensils & everything you would need. We would stay there again.

  Clean and economical

  I want to start by saying that the staff here is very friendly and accommodating. The room was fine for a one night stay - clean and the bed was comfortable. This little property is in need of a remodel - it could be oh so cute. That said you can tell the management works hard to make the most of the place. The price was very reasonable and there were a couple of decent restaurants within walking distance. Quick trip to Cape Henlopen State Park where the beach was wonderful. I would likely stay here again.

  Thoughtful Amenities and Excellent Value

  This is our third year staying at the Driftwood Motel. We love the full kitchen, two rooms and close proximity to Cape Henlopen. Everything is clean and thoughtfully outfitted for a family traveling together planning to cook in-room. Full stove and fridge, microwave, and basic kitchen supplies. These accommodations focus on functionality and efficiency (hence the name) and do not boast the opulence (or price point) of a resort condo-- but that is a suitable compromise for needs. We always enjoy our time here and find it to be a great value! Favorites: TV in living area and bedroom Full residential stove, fridge, micro, coffee pot, toaster-- up to date models Powerful AC w/ provided fans to help circulate around unit Lots of TV channels (traveling with a 3 year old so PBS Kids for the win!) Good Wifi (can get a little slow in the evenings when everyone is on, but still functional for average use) Overall a great value for the price point

  Very nice

  We were very pleased with the driftwood motel. It is not luxurious but is very clean & comfortable. The full kitchen is a plus. The location is good. The woman who checked us in was very nice & friendly. The one thing that could be improved is the light in the front room. It was dark in there if the blinds arent open or at night. We enjoyed our stay at the Driftwood!

  cute motel

  great place full kitchen very clean service great only needed 1 night but could have stayed a week great location bathroom very clean always my main concern we lucked out getting this hotel it was bike week
