  Remarkable Value

  We made a last minute reservation, not possessing any prior knowledge of this hotel, only to discover that the choice could not have been better. The room we occupied was a family room which was very generous in size and very comfortable. Despite its central location it was pleasingly quiet and one could have full enjoyment of the facility. Sadly, owing to covid restrictions, the hotel was unable to offer its normal service of dining or bar, but I should imagine the friendly and efficient and helpful service we experienced would have continued in all areas

  Would stay again

  I stayed for one night at the Dragon hotel this week and was happy. I experienced a professional and down to earth check in with the front desk staff. I requested a front facing room and this was gladly given to me. Plenty of hand sanitiser placed around the hotel. My room was a good size, comfortable bed, tea & coffee making facilities, large TV and adequate bathroom with shower over bath. Good quality toiletries were also provided. I was overall pleased with the room and will happily consider the Dragon on future visits to Swansea. I look forward to the pool being open in future when the circumstances allow it.

  The hotel is a clean comfortable lovely big TV. I was there as a key worker during restrictions it was well handled. Staff friendly and polite. The car park is on-site £9 per 24 hours. The hotel itself is situated near many fast food outlets and is very near the court so that there are some interesting characters there in the morning. He's also a small Tesco's very nearby so it's as well located as you can possibly get In the city centre.

  Staff brilliant, rooms need a refresh

  Stayed for 4 nights due to travelling down for family funeral and also being key worker and would be working in room, we booked a suite which was good value at approx £71 a night. could not fault hotel staff and organisation of Covid regulations they were really helpful and professional. Room was lovely and spacious, and well organised but really could do with a refresh, we took antibacterial spray and wipes with us as a precaution and wiped everything down on room, the room really could have done with a deep clean as still a lot of dust and dirt in the bedroom area, on desks and windows had mould inside when opened in bedroom and living room, prob because hotel had not been used to full capacity in months, however bathroom was spotless. Room and bed were very comfortable but in whole room could do with a repaint, and refresh of decor as marks and stains on curtains and walls. I would definitely stay here again though, and just a shame restaurant was not open for takeaway. But could not fault the staff and reception area/lifts/corridors are immaculate.

  Funeral stay

  This was a very difficult stay for me - I live in Leeds and a beloved auntie had died so I needed to stay overnight. The receptionist was so sweet to me and so kind. She made a horrible occasion bearable and honestly couldnt do enough for me. I would love to stay here under happier circumstances and would recommend it to anyone. My one gripe was that it was a bit cold and any manipulation of the thermostat was unsuccessful. Also, I get the grab bag breakfast situation under lockdown but I really wish you could make fresh coffee available. That said, thank you so much to that lovely receptionist- your kindness at an unpleasant time was so much appreciated xx
