  Review

  Fridge was noisy and had it replaced. Toilet had a slow leak. The customer service was excellent. I food the food to be expensive. But the hotel location to every thing was very convenient and allowed us to see all of the surrounding sites. Mount Taranaki was amazing to climb to the summit. I would recommend this hotel.

  Great Hotel to stay at

  lost one point as grand daugher had pancakes but they were hard - sitting under light too long. reception was excellent. ran out of towels, told reception and new towels received within minutes. Bed was excellent spa and pool were great

  First Time Visit

  I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your amazing venue, very thoughtfully positioned and had every aspect covered, if it be the very clean and well maintained swimming pool, access to free bike hire and or the gym. The lovely rest areas under shelter were also amazing. My son's favorite though was the basket ball hoop and ball that was available. The Food at the Marvals restaurant was amazing and the service was outstanding, we had a mix up at booking when we booked for the dinner package it turns out we were not booked into the restaurant and with a child waiting till 8pm for dinner was not ideal however the staff at the restaurant were amazing and were able to fit us in sooner the food and atmosphere was totally worth the wait, it was so nice to see the staff enjoying themselves too when they were not busy they were chatting and laughing with each other which means they love there job and it was so good to see staff enjoying themselves whilst at work, it was a packed night and your staff were under no visible pressure or stress - that is what I pay for and worth every cent. The only suggestion I would make is fresh water to be available in bottles from the fridge along with the milk as personally I don't like taking water to drink from the bathroom even to fill the jug. So one large bottle of water per fridge would be fantastic. The items in the bathroom were so thoughtful and covered any emergency that anyone could need. Perhaps also join up with the electric scooter hire to have some placed at your venue for people to hire at there will as we were lucky enough to have 1 outside that we hired however if we had a couple that would of been fantastic as the bikes had a close off time understandably and we were unable to enjoy them when we felt like going so teaming up with the electric scooter company to have some available around your location may have been a great way to involve the community businesses too. Overall we loved our experience and will be back. Thank you so much for having us.

  Awesome

  We spent a night on our family weekend away. Really nice place. Awesome staff, clean and tidy. We had a bathroom, queen bed and two singles in our room. Most comfortable beds ever! And to have the best buffet we have ever had on site was amazing! Highly recommended

  GREAT Hotel

  We stayed here as a group for a couple of nights and really liked the place. The manager Peter was fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were the same. The bedrooms we had overlooked the sea, that was a real bonus as we had not requested these. Very comfortable beds and the rooms had all the amenities you would want. We dined at Marbles Buffet restaurant and this was great value. Incredible selection of food. On the outskirts of the city centre, still within walking distance as well as from Pukekura Park. Close to the Coastal Walkway. Thanks for the welcome and the delightful stay.
