  Visiting Guilford College with my daughter

  Lovely room, lovely house! Our hostess provided a beautiful breakfast a half an hour earlier than usual because we had to be at Guilford at 8:30. A bowl of fresh fruit, a perfect soft boiled egg in the shell, served in darling egg cups with tiny spoons, turkey bacon and delicious French press coffee in lovely china cups. We went off to my daughter's first college visit well rested, well fed, and charmed!

  Perfect, again!

  Our second visit here because the first was so good. Very comfortable, much nicer than a chain hotel! I much prefer the interaction with the innkeeper to a hotel staff. Our room is lovely. Breakfast is both nourishing and delightfully prepared. We will be back again!!

  Perfect stay

  My husband and I traveled to Greensboro for a concert to celebrate our anniversary and stayed with Jean at Dailey Renewal. Every detail was taken care of. The house is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

  Very enjoyable stay- thank you Jean!

  We stayed for 5 nights and a wonderful time. Jean is very kind innkeeper and we felt well cared for. My wife has dairy and gluten allergies and Jean did a good job accommodating. The Inn is on a relatively quiet street and is within walking distance to Hops Burgers(great place). It's also just a block away from Sticks and Stones, and Fishbones, 2 other great places to eat. There were always fresh towels for us. The Inn was kept up very well and clean. Off street parking never became an issue. Thank you again Jean for making us feel so welcome. -Billy and Vanessa

  Don't stay here!

  I booked a weekend here for a girls trip and it was canceled due to Covid. The proprietress reached out and offered to make the reservation open ended versus my canceling. It sounded like she needed the money, and since she told me I could always cancel but this would maintain the current rate, I stupidly agreed. In late April, my health took a nose dive and I was scheduled for numerous scans and procedures thru June along with a referral to a specialist at Johns Hopkins and a surgeon. I reached out to her asking to cancel so I could have those funds back to use toward my quickly mounting medical debt. She agreed, PayPal alerted me of the refund, and then 3 days later PayPal let me know the refund had been canceled by the vendor. I reached out again but she wouldn't explain by email because I guess she didn't want anything in writing and would only explain by phone. She then used her new Covid no-refund policy as her justification. To make a long story short, and since I had been promised a refund and she rescinded it, and this wasn't Covid related, I wound up filing disputes with PayPal and my credit card company, and got my attorney involved! I spent HOURS dealing with this when I needed to focus on my health and avoid extra stress! After much back and forth, her outright lies, her refunding me half, and her attempts at appeals, I got the full refund in August. But then she even tried to appeal that. Clearly this lady is unethical, untrustworthy, and doesn't deserve to be in business. Please be warned and stay elsewhere!!
