  Cults hotel Aberdeen

  This was a pleasant 2 night stay at the hotel. The room I was in was quite large but as it was booked for me I have no idea if it was a double or superior double room. It was very clean and was warm. These was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Despite having a room facing the main road it was very quiet. The restaurant offer a reasonable choice of food but I admin=t I was taken aback at the cost of a soft drink. A bottle of Diet Coke was £3.20. Compared to the food on offer that seemed expensive.

  Cults Hotel back but not as weve known it

  Was so pleased as a Cults resident that hotel was up and running again with new owners and promptly booked for dinner. There were a few diners but not busy by any standards which was to be expected after just a few days in.The menu was greatly reduced but old favourites were on which was reassuring . We were surprised therefore at the longer than usual wait for food to arrive.When it did arrive bearing in mind we knew what to expect from visiting the restaurant for over 20years it was a disappointment. Everything from the appearance of food to size of portions was different and not in a good way. The food was perfectly palatable but not what we expected,nothing like normal and nothing to keep returning for especially in this climate. The Cults Hotel had always been a go to place where you can be assured of consistently high standards and would never hesitate to recommend.Hopefully its just a blip and normal service will be resumed soon!

  Lovely meal..... .....but oh the service

  Nice to see the restaurant opened again after being closed for months. We had a lovely meal....much reduced menu though. The downside was the extremely slow service.....the whole meal from sitting down to leaving was 2.40 hrs! The atmosphere wasnt helped for ages by a screaming baby in the restaurant but fortunately the parents eventually left with said baby......not staffs fault.

  Nice food, good service, would return

  The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was nice, although a bit basic. The menu doesn't match with the restaurant ambiance and has a bit of "pub grub" feel. Overall, we would return but the menu maybe needs re-worked.

  Lovely Meal

  Three of us dined in the restaurant. We all had different dishes all of which were thoroughly enjoyable, There are some traditional pub favourites alongside some more sophisticated dishes. All our choices were excellent quality and of restaurant standard.
