  Excelente opcion en la señorial ciudad de Harrogate

  Nos alojamos una noche, en el marco de un tour por Reino Unido, en este hotel antiguo, con instalaciones muy confortables. Nos asignaron una habitacion muy amplia y comoda. El desayuno estuvo muy bien y teniamos una cena incluida que resulto muy completa, sabrosa y bien servida. Fue una muy grata experiencia.

  Nice Break But Some Issues

  We have stayed at The Crown on numerous occasions . We arrived about 11.30 and were informed our room was ready which was great news, check in was pleasant and the staff member polite and chatty. The room was ok like other posts the rooms are a little tired. There were no glasses in the room only a mug ufor hot drinks which was strange as there are disposable cups, there was no maid service which we expected but there wasn't any toilet cleaning brush which we found strange. We had an evening meal included in our package and the choice was limited, vegetarians were catered for but unfortunately not for people who haven't a sweet tooth, my husband asked for cheese and biscuits to finish his meal and the waitress didn't think this would be a problem but went to check, on her return she informed us that the kitchen had said there was none in stock which is quite frankly unacceptable for a hotel of this size we were the only guests in the dining room, we appreciated that there were restrictions due to Covid but they offer cheese for a continental breakfast in the morning so was the chef just being lazy? Our break was good rather than average (There isn't a good option) we felt very safe and the staff who we met were very good. There have been many changes over the last few years you no longer have biscuits in your room we noticed that last December and there is no longer any black pudding on the breakfast not major issues but it is the little touches that make a difference.

  Nice relaxing visit

  The Crown Hotel is a nice quiet place to stay. Very friendly efficient staff ,and covid safe. The staff make you feel welcome ,and and I would recommend a visit here. Nice spacious room and good breakfast.

  Will definitely return!

  We really enjoyed our stay at the crown. Felt like a central location, everything in walking distance. The room was basic but clean and spacious. The highlight of our stay were the fantastic staff, everyone was really friendly and welcoming. One member of staff aka an angel got me a fan at 1am when I was nearly dying of a hangover. The food in the restaurant was really good, as was breakfast - I had the continental which was everything I could have asked for. Such good value for money. Upon check out we were again greeted by a really helpful and friendly member of staff, who again helped make our stay that bit more special. Thank you to all of the hard working team, we felt really safe in your presence (obvs at a distance). We wouldnt hesitate to return and would recommend gladly to friends and family.

  First time in Harrogate..

  Visited Harrogate for the first time this weekend and was very impressed with its old charm and character and it's abundance of quality restaurants and shops.. Stayed at the Crown hotel and found it extremely welcoming - the staff were very helpful/attentive and the hotel itself was perfectly situated for all the local attractions.. Compliments to the chef on our three course dinner which was excellent. An all round great experience..
