  Wonderful Gem

  The Crown Hotel is situated in the middle of Lochmaben with lovely views of the Loch and the 18 hole golf course. The hospitality of our hosts was outstanding and made us so welcome. Our evening meal was delicious as was our breakfast and was piping hot. Our rooms were in the garden which overlooked the Loch which was a sight to behold and the rooms were furnished to a very high standard and all ensuite. We couldn't fault anything at all and will return next year we had a wonderful time. Many thanks.

  Delicious home cooked food well presented, friendly staff, stunning views from lovely garden over Kirk Loch

  Called in after a long walk around Castle Loch, have been a couple of times before and always the same high standard. We are not local so have only visited at lunchtime, would love to try an evening meal, such a great atmosphere and really good food. Very resaonabe prices too!

  Great meal

  We liked the social distancing of the tables. Our food was served very quickly & all cooked to order. Large portions, hot & delicious. Drinks are very reasonably priced too The staff were all charming & polite. The Landlady is Such a lovely person, always smiling & very welcoming.

  Great Overnight stay

  Stayed at The Crown Hotel in October, we were in room 4 which has a king sized bed, en-suite, tea and coffee facilities, large TV, everything you need. It was very clean, spacious and warm. The team at The Crown Hotel are lovely and were extremely accommodating. We sat in the beer garden and had some pub grub which was great. Highly recommend this place for drinks, food and overnight stay.

  A wee gem of a place!

  We stayed here for three nights and are so glad we did. Lovely modern room with a comfy super king sized bed with a pile of pillows. Everything you would want in the room and spotlessly clean. Sparkling bathroom too with a properly good shower. Lovely friendly welcome from the staff, nothing was a brother. Great breakfasts too. We didn't get a chance to try an evening meal but the locals were very complimentary. The pub itself is fab too although due to Covid we were in the garden with some cosy heaters. All covid regulations were strictly adhered to. The rooms all open onto the garden with a view over the loch. A really great place to stay!
