  Working from home! I booked a desk.

  WoW! I have been working from home since Covid-19 hit the uk. When I saw the amazing offer to book a table/desk I jumped at the chance. My car needed to be in Hexham for the day and I needed to continue working. I was given a huge table with a plug all to myself, the wi-fi was great all day. The guidelines are clear and at no point was I within two meters of the public. I then took full advantage of tea/coffee and soft drinks throughout the day. Along with my lunch all included for £10 what value I hear you say!! It gets better! as I paid I was reminded I could have a glass of wine to end my working day but alas i had to pick up the car and drive home so no alcohol for me. The staff were great and asked me at appropriate times throughout the day if I needed more refreshment thank you so much for this offer. I recomend this for all who need a change of environment or because like me it is beneficial to your day.

  Excellent

  Booked in at late notice. Staff welcoming friendly and helpful. Really dog friendly. Food freshly cooked and tasty. Clean and tidy. Left a "premier" place day before this was so much better!good place to visit Roman England

  Sunday lunch

  Just had another fantastic Sunday dinner take out for the family it was absolutely gorgeous will certainly be back for another one , highly recommend it to anyone and great value for money , food was amazing thank you to Fiona and her team

  Over night stay

  Within Covid rules, we were allowed to stay overnight due to us attending a local funeral early the next morning. Fiona who owns the hotel made us most welcome and went out of her way to provide us with a takeaway hotel meal of delicious roast beef and trimmings which we ate in a safe private lounge area. It is obviously a very well run hotel, very spacious bedroom and compfy bed and well situated. We will definitely return and enjoy a longer stay once this Covid pandemic is cleared.

  Best Sunday lunch in Hexhamshire

  We have been supporting local businesses by having frequent takeaways but until now we had never cracked Sunday lunch. We have now. To me, a meat dinner stands or falls on the quality of the meat and on the gravy. Both were outstanding. Choose beef, turkey, lamb or all three...little meals for little appetites are available... and 20% discount if you pick up rather than have it delivered. Starters and pudding available too...thats Sundays sorted for quite some time!
