    Don't care if food is inedible

    Visited the bistro for a dinner meal. Great quick service but the roast beef was restless, full of grisle and could not be cut let alone chewed. Three staff members comiserated with us when we declared this and took the plate back to the chef. But we still we required to pay for the meal. What planet are hospitality businesses on when they treat paying customers like this. I will be telling all my foodie friends to avoid this pub for a long time.

    Great Food

    Have stopped there a couple of times now for meals and they have been great. There was quite a few of us and no complaints about the meals. Worth going to :) Have not stayed in the accommodation at all so cannot comment on that sorry.

    Mates on Motorcycleshad a great night

    When I travel I always try to get hotel accommodation and this place has it all. Rooms upstairs, cold drinks and great food. The staff were great and we got to spend the night on the upstairs balcony. The windows to the rooms open, air-conditioned and has a TV in the room. I would recommend keeping the hotel accommodation alive.

    We said we'd be back

    Yes, we love this place for a great meal and excellent wine selection. Staff are very attentive and freindly. That's a good start, but the lovely renovations add a special touch to the whole eating out experience. You can see your food being prepared in the centralized kitchen and yet the noise is very low, almost unnoticeable. Highly recommend the house white from NZ - Sauvignon blanc.

    Loved the Orange and Almond cake

    We visited for dinner last night and had the roast lamb (plenty of other delish options to choose from though) followed by the Orange and almond cake soused in gin! Staff and service was friendly, efficient and welcoming - the publican stopped by for a chat. Highly recommended.
