  The best Pub in the Country

  Simply, there is no better country pub. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Whether it's an evening meal with family or friends, a few drinks on a night out, a function in the barn or just a nibble at lunch, you can't go wrong. The staff are always lovely, and the service is superb. It really is the most amazing pub.

  Couldnt recommend more for weddings

  We met with Adam to discuss getting married at the coppleridge, he was so accommodating and gave us some great tips along the way. The wedding couldnt have gone smoother. We had to last minute move from an outside wedding to inside because of the rain but the team organised everything so quickly and it didnt affect us at all. The day was perfect and we had great feedback from our guests. Sorry this is a couple of years late but we have been to a few more weddings since and they have been just as amazing. Massive thanks to Adam, we dont know how you do it!

  What a wonderful experience

  Stayed here with the family on the stopover from Cornwall. Absolutely fantastic place. The rooms are incredible and large, set out in a lovely courtyard within acres of roaming land. The pub is superb with excellent beers wine and food. The local smoked trout salad was an absolute show-stopper. There are several rooms for drinking, eating including outdoor areas. Therefore depending on who you are and with you can find somewhere suitable for you. The staff are really kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We stay a lot in this area and make this our regular place. It really is suited to everyone whether you are single, couple or family and staying for a short to longer period. I imagine it is superb for large gatherings as well.

  Lunch at the Coppleridge

  Recently stayed in Shaftesbury with some family. After a long walk, we ended up in the Coppleridge Inn for lunch. It was beautiful! Amazing chicken burgers and fish and chips. Cant wait to return. It is a beautiful place in a fab location! Thank you

  Arranging a funeral and wake during second lockdown was never going to be easy but, Tina and Graham handled their part of my arrangements just beautifully, within Covid restrictions, nothing was too much trouble. My guests were very happy with the delicious lunch, the service was wonderful and your kindness and professionalism much appreciated. As you know, I had visited your restaurant on two other occasions, the service and food were both perfect. Thank you for helping me on what was a truly sad day for me, by providing a beautiful and very memorable lunch. I look forward to returning another time when we are free to do so. With best wishes.
