  Great spa break

  Stayed here on Boxing Day with my wife for a one night spa break..spa was lovely and clean..stayed in a lake view room which was great..we also got a 3 course meal at the restaurant with our deal..the restaurant was faultless!! Be returning soon!!!

  Twixmas break

  We first visited this place for the clay pigeon shooting last summer and after our trip to Northumberland was cancelled we remembered that the hotel looked lovely so booked it last minute. We did the time together package with 2 nights in a luxury room. The room was lovely, a huge bed and beautiful views out to the lake. As it was too cold to eat outside on the balcony it was lovely to have breakfast in the adjoining room with the lovely view each day. We also ate dinner in the view restaurant both evenings. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was really nice and we loved that we could have a drink in the bar before and after dinner. It felt very Christmassy sat in front of the fire. During the day we took the advice of the concierge and went for a long walk, we got a bit lost but enjoyed the countryside nearby. We also did the thermo experience and had massages in the spa. With limited numbers allowed in, it was a very relaxing few hours. We would definitely return!

  Outstanding!

  This hotel is perfect in every way. The staff are exceptional-nothing is too much trouble at all. Every member of staff is polite, helpful and extremely friendly. The whole hotel is so welcoming, especially to our little dog who was welcome everywhere and was even left a toy, bowl and towel to make her welcome! The setting is beautiful (set within the grounds of a country estate overlooking a lake), the rooms are fabulous (huge rooms with lovely bathrooms and all amenities), the restaurant is lovely with an extensive and delicious menu of local produce. The spa is amazing! Infinity pool, outdoor jacuzzi, pool, saunas and steam room. It is gorgeous! The location is perfect-only 10 minutes from malham and 25 minutes from the 3 peaks. We had an absolutely amazing stay and cant thank the staff enough for the wonderful, friendly service. We will definitely return!

  NYE BREAK

  We visited here on the 30/12/2 for a 3 night NYE package stay, when we arrived the reception was busy but the staff were really organised and we were quickly seen to and they were on top of making sure we all felt COVID Safe. We got to our room which had a lovely view over the lake, it was cold to start with and I rang reception for them to help us get the heating on they sent a engineer within minutes and he soon fixed are issue. We went down for afternoon tea which was really pleasant, during this time the announcement came out that we were going into tier 3 and we would have to leave the hotel the following day. The staff were outstanding and quickly updated us you could see the utter disappointment that they were having to close again. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and again the staff could not do enough for us, myself and my partner agreed the staff truly make the Coniston Hall special. During our stay we also visited the Spa which was also really nice, and the best COVID restrictions in place. The only downside is all drinks had to be consumed outside apart from water. We loved our stay even though it was cut short, we would like to thank the staff for been incredible all the way through. The receptionists were amazing! Especially Mel! And you got the feeling that the staff loved working there and it had a lovely family feel to it. The owners were also there and you could tell the staff really believed in the owners which was lovely to see and hear. Only a couple of recommendations is that the decor in the rooms could be updated its a little old fashioned and I would love to see more of a plush interior and include the latest technology. Also If the heating could be placed on for welcomed arrival for each guest as it was very cold. Also the food quality could be slightly improved or cooked better but we did have a lovely meal. All in all this place deserves a 5 out of 5 just for the excellent staff and how special they made you feel. Thanks again!

  Lovely Break

  We visited the hotel in December 2020. The Hotel is lovely, very clean and extra helpful staff. We loved our stay and the grounds and views are amazing. Would defiantly recommend. The Hotel and staff made you feel welcome even with all the Covid restrictions.
