Please do not stay here, run down and shabby!!Decided on a day out in Blackpool that we would spend the night. Big mistake!! Where to start? The place is dirty beyond believe, Shower filthy! Stained duvet, dust everywhere, no mattress protector, lamp all bashed up and the other was thick full of dirt, milk cartons in the room were off,Which must have been there ages as there UHT. Tv in the room doesnt work, told staff and they just shrugged it off, having a child with us we wanted to go back to the room early to watch some tv, couldnt do that, bar area was poor, random bed sheets on the ceiling and a 9 yr old DJ until 1.30am although the place did have a decent pint. Next was breakfast was told they had a deal on £6.99 each so we agreed worst idea ever!! Tea saucer full of grease, cup dirty, cutlery filthy!! No option of juice with our breakfast, cheap poor quality sausage, 2 salty bacon, 2 mushrooms, table spoon of beans and 2 toast 1 egg, does not constitute a full English at £6.99, I didnt even have the egg and they did not even offer a replacement. waitress coughed her her lungs up with her mask down her neck?? Erm Covid ...we will never stay here again which is a shame, lovely location close to the pleasure beach and rooms with great views.

Do not waste your moneyI stayed in room 101 - a twin room. At first it seemed ok but soon found out the wallpaper behind one of the beds was bulging and coming away to reveal lots of plaster flaking all over the beds!!! I ended up moving the beds away from the walls. The window did not shut either. It was a windy night and there was this annoying tapping sound all night from some kind of cable outside the window. The room also had an awful sulphate smell, particularly strong when opening and closing the door. In the morning I complained about the window to begin with (they werent too fussed) then when I said about the wall they seemed shocked like they didnt know. Its clearly been there a while. And moved me to a double room (302) up on the top floor. This also smelt of damp but was better. The whole hotel stinks of weed, both inside and out. There are people who live at this hotel permanently as well. One person we spoke to said he lived there and couldnt even tell us who was in charge when we went to leave. Apart from lovely sea views and a tram stop outside I could not say anything else positive about this hotel unfortunately. Hotel is extremely run down, needs sorting out ASAP. Its a shame they didnt use their time during lockdown to sort matters such as the lift and damp wallpaper/plaster.

DisgustingPlease dont bother, unclean, stinks of cannabis, wallpaper peeling off, showers held together with tape, please trust me go elsewhere even if it costs u more! Stains on bed heads ! Car park full as rented out to day trippers, who block u in, hotel staff that couldnt give a monkeys. Place stinks of damp and weed. Mirrors were filthy. Not to mention rest of room. No tv remote. Should be shut down its a disgrace to Blackpool. Wifi does not work on top floor. Does not do evening meals though advertises as such including the welcome pack in the hotel itself! Just dont bother please. Not even a one star.

Cheap and CheerfullYes it could do with a revamp/redecorating but to be honest from what I saw most hotels in Blackpool certainly at the same price range could, remember it is an older seaside resort so in general the hotels will be older building's,now I am not saying it is perfect but for a short break it is perfectly adequate,we had room 101 and I agree the plaster issue behind the right hand side bed as you stand at the door needs addressing, but no plaster fell out during our stay, there where also in our admittedly only 1 night stay no smells inside the room/hotel or outside the hotel (except someone who lived there burning some toast, hardly the hotels fault),btw the knocking noise mentioned in another review of this room i don't think is from outside i think it is the door lock rattling, didn't affect mine or my wife's nights sleep, the window mentioned in the same review is very stiff to open/shut but does fit correctly, staff we encountered where lovely,we where offered breakfast but didn't take the offer as wanted an early start but from what I saw when handing in the key breakfast looked and smelled lovely, all in all for a 2.5 star rated hotel i would certainly stay again as the room was spotless just very dated
