  Lovely Hotel

  This is a small independent hotel in a good location near the pier.Our twin room was beautiful with everything we needed and was quiet.The breakfast was very nice with a good selection.Everything was to a high standard.The owners do everything to ensure their guests have a nice stay and small extras they provide are appreciated.Would recommend this hotel and thought it well worth the money.

  Excellent

  We stayed at the Chudleigh for 2 nights, our room was immaculate and decor lovely. There wasn't anything that hadn't been thought of. Our hosts were so welcoming and all of the staff really lovely and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fantastic and again we were constantly asked if we had all we needed or if we wanted more of anything. Couldn't fault anything at all. We would definitely recommend here and will definitely be returning ourselves. Thank you all very much from Pat and Sam in Milton Keynes.

  Out standing as always

  Love this hotel, they make you feel like home. Nothing is too much trouble even though you dont like asking... always very very clean staff are friendly and kind. Have 100% cotton bedding always perfect. There breakfast are to die for me and the little one are allergic to dairy and soya and they always cater for us... best hotel in Clacton 5* + Kathy

  Short stay

  Wonderful place to stay.The host are very welcoming and can't do enough for you .Rooms are spotless. Breakfast was lovely and filling .Hotel is located very short walk from the beach and the town.I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Clacton.We will be back. Richard.

  this has never happened before where we've stayed somewhere where everything was great , people who ran it and the staff were very friendly and helpful , the room was big ,warm , peaceful , large and luxurious en suite , massive comfortable bed , spotlessly clean but not bland and clinical , the hotel had loads of charming original features and the breakfast was huge and tasty , our dog bingo had great fun playing with the owners lab and spaniel , parking no problem right at the front door and the chudleigh is a stones throw from the sea next to the pier. price very reasonable at 70 quid all in . 10 out of 10 ;
