  A gem hidden away from the noisy Patong lifestyle

  Just visited The Chalet last weekend with a group of friends staying in an entire villa of our own. Frankly for the price that we are paying, it is definitely a great steal. Authentic Thai decor, clean rooms with strong A/C. (Trust me that you need that in Thailand's famous weather) The staff were all very friendly, clean up the rooms on time and even helped us move around in the buggy when we need. I do have to give SPECIAL mentioned to the food served here, I believed it should be THE BEST local Thai food in Phuket.. So authentic, local and super yummy, beats even some of the $$$$$ restaurant out there. But I really do have to say that the location may be a little on the quiet side of Phuket, 1h from the airport, 30mins to Patong. If you are planning for a 'value for money' quiet beach resort, this is it!

  Quiet and Peaceful, well run resort

  Although slightly away from an immediate beach, the Chalet Phuket Resport offers spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation and is reasonably priced. Having very welcoming and efficient staff, this property is extremely well-managed by Jennie, whose restaurant reception and service skills are very high together with her husband Ken. Good menu and sensibly priced. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you.

  ok

  Just visited the Chalet 3 weeked ago.room was clean the pool right in front of our bedroom.the pool not really clean but it ok.only met 3 staffs but they all ok.the one at reception seem like she does not understand Thai but She can understood english.we rent 1 motor bike 300THB /day.the reception girl called someone for us and the motor bike came without helmet so we asking for it the guys who took the motor bike said we can come to his shop and yes we did get really old broken two helmet.anyway we have good sleep (the shower room very small)

  Bad experience

  We arranged a taxi to the Airport at the reception. It was in the middle of the night so we went twice to the reception to make sure it was arranged cause they barely speak English. At pick-up time no taxi came. We were left to solve the problem ourselve cause the conciërge cant speak English and hè was sleeping when we found him. We were lucky we even found a taxi in time at the streets cause it was 3 am and the hotel is located in a very quiet area. They are no restaurants, not a Nice beach and it is just not a touristy place. There is absolutely nothing in the area. Only positive thing are the rooms, they are spacious and very lovely for the price you pay.

  Absolutely loved the whole amazing experience

  The Chalet was perfect for our family of 5 my husband and I and our 3 small children (5,3,and infant) We enjoyed everything during our 8day stay. The location was great! Views were amazing. Staff went above and beyond to help us and insure we got good deals on activities. We really loved that it was quiet. It was the perfect vacation for us a combination of relaxing and within distance from so many options for adventure. We stayed with a group and it was perfect we could hang in common areas then go to our seperate areas. While we stayed we did 3 beach/pool days across the street at crowne plaza resort, 3 adventure days (boating to the islands) and 2 shopping / relax days.
