  Hotel agradable y moderno

  Hotel muy agradable, a pocos minutos andando de la calle principal de Concord. Es un edificio de estilo Nueva Inglaterra, moderno por dentro. Dispone de parking gratuito. Nuestra habitación era amplia, con una gran cama muy confortable, y con sábanas muy agradables para descansar. Nos habían dejado encima de la cama dos albornoces y dos zapatillas ya preparados para usar, y unas galletas riquísimas. El baño, también muy amplio, tenía una ducha grande de gresite con cascada. Las amenities eran de Gilchrist & Soames y de Bathe, muy buenas. Como detalle a mejorar, si están leyendo esto desde el hotel, la limpieza del wc no era del todo adecuada y tuvimos que darle un repaso nosotros. Desayunamos en el restaurante un riquísimo plato de tortilla con jamón, queso y salchichas de sirope, hash brown, y tostadas. Wifi rápido. Buen trato del personal.

  Great personal service

  The room was cute and was updated. The bathroom was very nice and clean. But the service from everyone at the hotel that I encountered was excellent. From the front desk to the restaurant each encounter was satisfying. When I got home and checked my receipt, I found that I was not charged the rate that I was supposed to. One phone call, with no pushback, and it was corrected.

  A fabulous stay

  We arrived about 3 pm. The front desk hostess was quite welcoming. The room was spotless. The Corona Virus scare was in the air so there were few guests. The award-winning restaurant was closed for breakfast but the Hotel offered a superb continental breakfast. I particularly enjoyed the homemade granola. We have stayed here several times. The old world charm in a modern and beautiful setting.

  Friendly Staff, But a Few Hiccups

  Recently, my husband and I stayed at The Centennial during our honeymoon, and we experienced a few "hiccups" while there. I would like to say that the hotel staff we had direct contact with was great. We especially loved Lucy. We spoke with Lucy a few weeks prior to our arrival to get some information, and she was extremely pleasant on the phone. So, we were equally pleased to see her when we checked in, and she provided the same outstanding customer service. Our concerns are really with the conditions of the hotel and the service we received from the cleaning staff. They are: 1. The hot water was not working for two days (Tuesday and Wednesday). Considering it was chilly earlier this week, taking cold showers was not an experience we expected nor enjoyed. We were told that someone was working on fixing it, but it was never taken care of. 2. When we left Tuesday to go on an excursion, we came back to see our room door was left open. None of your valuables were missing. But the thought that one of the cleaning staff didn't have enough consideration to ensure our room was secure when (s)he left was irresponsible. 3. The same cleaning person turned on the air conditioning. We kept wondering why the room was cold when the temperature was 40 degrees outside. No one told him/her to touch anything. 4. The hotel is dated. I understand that it's a historical building, but it could use a few upgrades/remodeling. Overall, my husband and I were not completely dissatisfied with our stay at The Centennial. We were definitely excited about patronizing the hotel after reading all the positive reviews. However, we were not 100% happy. The only saving grace was the hotel staff. They hired a great group of people who are willing to help.

  Accommodating Staff, But A Few Minor Concerns

  The Centennial Hotel was beautiful, however, it's a bit dated-- We stayed in room 207. The bathroom sink took a very long time to drain and the ceiling fan clicked extremely loud all night while running. Additionally, the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were not working. That being said, when we called down about needing toiletries, an extremely attentive staff member ran those things up right away. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable and the hotel was quiet. There were cars in the lot, but we never saw anyone. We were willing to overlook things being dated due to the superb customer service.
