    Nice unique atmosphere with some caveats

    The Victorian look and setting was nice. Right near Main St. and other shopping/restaurants. When they had morning breakfast, it had lots of variety and interesting dishes, plus things you could grab all day in the dining room. If they needed to improve, I'd say...I did not know about accessibility. Seems all they had were stairs for each floor. Beds were a little bit high, and you couldn't control the heating. Also there was one morning they didn't serve breakfast and did not give us a heads up on the fact beforehand. (they said they don't do it in Winter but would this week, guess for just the weekend/holiday...) Freebies in the dining room were appreciated, but wish they had fruit juices too.

    Charm and quality

    Visiting a shore location off-season can often lead to sub-par experiences but that was not the case at the Carriage House. The attention to detail, quality of the linens and cleanliness were impeccable. I will definitely be back!

    Charming

    The Carriage House was absolutely delightful. It was so beautiful. The owners open up their home entirely to you. We felt like we were in our home. It is one block from the ocean and had an ocean view from our balcony.

    Wonderful Stay at a Charming Bed and Breakfast!

    We had a wonderful winter visit. The Carriage House features everything we were looking for in a bed and breakfast. The staff (perhaps owners) were very friendly. I felt like we were visiting someone's home. The home was historic. The décor was full of charm and history. The room was comfortable. The fireplace in the room was very cozy. Our room had a nice view of the ocean. Breakfast was delicious and the variety was amazing. Highly recommend.

    Great visit yet again

    Stayed over for the weekend and as always the service and the breakfast were top notch. A must visit if anyone is in the area as there isn't a better combination of environment, service, and professionalism available
