Perfect locationStayed in a great two story, 2 bedroom 2 ½ bath unit with private hot tub overlooking the town lift and the Quitn Time Ski run. The unit was very nice, with some nice updates, but definitely an older style look and feel. It was very spacious and easily accommodated myself, my husband and the other couple that traveled with us. The location cannot be beat with the town lift right outside your front door. We got in the small lift line every morning before it opened at 8:50 and returned around 4 in the afternoon to sit in the hot tub and watch people come down the mountain. After dark we watched the snow groomers on the hill. It is walking distance to many local restaurants and lots of great shopping. Really could not be any happier about the location. Be prepared though if you are not a confident skier. The slopes that return you to the Town lift are Blue (and I mean Blue) Runs. They have several steep pitch areas that can get narrow. From our Hot Tub, we watched dozens of people, every day, come down the Quitn Time slope sliding on their bum. YOU CAN RIDE THE TOWN LIFT BACK DOWN the hill from the Bonanza Access Trail. It was not really advertised anywhere but we saw many people ride the lift down into town at the end of the day. The only other real negative is that there is no ski lockers or storage, so you end up bringing your gear into your unit. Not a big deal, but many upscale locations, such as this one, offer ski and boot storage slopeside.

Unit 210 - Fabulous Trip!We stayed in Unit 210 at the Caledonian for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The location is amazing! The front door literally opens to the lifts, rentals, and stores you may need gear for. Check in was so easy. We basically drove right up and checked in within minutes. The unit we stayed in was spacious, clean, had a hot tub on the balcony, and was well stocked for cooking. The unit had all the cooking utensils you need which was wonderful! The beds were super comfortable, and the condo was extremely clean with a lovely modern décor and updated bathrooms. Highly recommend!

Close to ski and shopsSummer is fantastic in Park City. Wake up with amazing views from your room. Each place has a kitchen. You may want to hit the Fresh Market which is a 10 minute drive ( or bus ride) down the street to stock up on edibles. Pop next door to Atticus Coffee shop for creative drinks made with local ingredients and homemade bakery goods. Or try The Harvest right next door for amazing yogurt treats. The Bridge is an outdoor cafe outside your door too, expensive ( $12 for 2 pancakes) but you sit outside for views. Skip lunch in the restaurants. Take a free trolley or a 8 minute walk up the street to the end of Main to load up supplies at the Riverhorse Provisions or grab a fantastic sandwich at Main St. Deli. Now head back to the Caledonian. Get a allday lift pass for $25. Jump on the ski lift RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR!!! Moderate to steep hikes await you at the top with fantastic views. Take another lift down to modern Park City. Its covered by the pass. Dinner? Right by your hotel is No Name Saloon for a buffalo burger or get homemade noodles/meatballs at Grappa or awesome soup at Flannigans Bar ( perfect for a rainy summer day and dont forget their cobbler! Patio seating everywhere! At the end of Main St. is Empire Canyon, a very flat hike by a stream. Other hikes are right next to your hotel and go right under the lift. These are a free way to hike up the hill if you don't feel like riding the lift. A block away is the transit bus center. Super easy color coded buses take you for free anywhere you want. Bus up to Deer Valley. Extreme mnt. biking there but pop up to the top for great views.( The Stien Erickson Lodge has fun Jamaican waiter and deck with super views.) . Pop over to the Montage for easy hikes called the Mid Mnt. You will notice that people in Deer Valley come to Old Park City for shops and food. The Caledonian is already in the perfect location! End of the day spa time on your patio!!
