  No puedes bañarte en la playa sin cubrir tus tatuajes

  Es un lugar muy lindo, con muchos espacios para el turista, puedes entrar si no te hospedas en el resort, pero muchas actividades son solo para uso de los que se quedan ahí. Ah y no puedes bañarte en la playa si no cubres tus tatuajes y aparte te cobran ¥2000 por la entrada.

  Dreadful place

  I am currently staying with a party of 40 guests over in Japan for the rugby World Cup. We have been most impressed with everything to date in Japan and the welcome we have received. Except for this place. Its impossible to get a meal booked at any of the few restaurants that are actually open in the hotel, most of the younger staff are fine but the aggressive nature of others is impossible to fathom. In particular the business centre and the pool attendant supervisors are both very rude and dismissive and Ive just had my umbrella removed without an explanation. Hence this post on trip advisor. Its better I write this as my wife who is normally a very accommodating person cannot get angrier about the service and attitude - she ended up pleading yesterday for a restaurant booking for dinner this evening which she eventually got for 1730, having said we can eat from 1900! We are all stunned that a hotel of this size and so called quality is unable to give people reservations for bookings in any of the restaurants that are open. The answer is always fully booked but on the two occasions we went to each of the two restaurants at the time we wanted a booking both were nearly empty. We have been living off crisps and more crisps because we cannot get a meal at a decent hour. I can honestly say that I never felt less welcome in a hotel anywhere- it could be the language barrier but not when you try to hang onto your poolside umbrella by the pool and its forcibly removed. We leave tomorrow- I cannot wait. Dicky Evans

  Second magical visit

  My wife and our children visited for a second time. We love this hotel it has great staff, wonderful location and the food is amazing. My wife and I can look out over the ocean and feel even more connected because of the wonderful surrounds. Thank you for always making our time spent at your hotel a memory I will keep always.

  Nice hotel but no one spoke English

  The location is overall very nice. The teppanyaki restaurant is very good, but also overpriced. The breakfast buffet at La Tida is really excellent with pancakes, French toast, Goya juice, purple yam bread and purple yam Brulee that is so nice

  Nice hotel but not 5-star standard

  Busena Terrace Hotel looks and sounds like a 5-star hotel. Location is lovely on beach, with several great pools and big rooms. It has everything going for it. It SHOULD be great. However, the service is not befitting of a 5-star hotel, in terms of the staff and also the facilities. The gym is embarrassing, without a weight in sight and only a couple of running machines. The staff are incredibly inflexible and in some cases plain unhelpful. Little details - such as fixing an apparently broken espresso machine at breakfast - should be done quickly at a hotel of this level but proved impossible at Busena. Lots of features of the hotel were closed because of staffing related to coronavirus - including the spa, poolside bar and several restaurants - which is fair enough to some extent but some other aspects of the hotel - such as a clothes shop - were overly-staffed. It just didn't make a lot of sense. When my friend had a broken toe, which needed redressing, the hotel claimed they didn't have a first aid kit. Again, not even close to 5-star standard.
