  Maravillosa casa con visita

  E historia La senora que nos la ha ensenado es un encanto de mujer llena de amor y delicada con la historia de la casa Nos enseno todo menos las habitaciones porque todavia viven los duenos Nos alojamos en las habitaciones donde vivian los chicos cuando cumplian 14 anos Super maravilloso el lugar

  Un lugar precioso

  Encontrar algo feo en Natchez es tarea difícil. Alojarte en The Burn, es todo un lujo. Las habitaciones, preciosas, el desayuno, muy bueno. El servicio, muy atento y simpático. Nos trataron como si fuésemos de la familia. Todo perfecto !

  Dark & noisy

  Our room was dark & dreary & was noisy from the owners who live upstairs & kept the TV on until midnight. The staff was kind & the gardens are lovely. Not worth the money & not as elegant as purported.

  Greek Revival at its Best

  The architecture and the history are amazing. The gardens were outstanding as was the staff. The owner was delightful and gave us a very nice tour of the first floor of the house. The burn has been a traditional B&B for many years. The new ownership will be critical to bringing it up to speed over the next few years. Breakfast was mediocre at best and served on plastic plates with plastic silverware. We know that the plastic is not about Covid as we own a B&B in Hannibal, Missouri. Scrambled eggs, a biscuit, luke warm sausage or ham and some fruit every morning of the three days we stayed there. The coffee was great. The Covid protocols were good and everyone wore a mask. Overall the property was clean. Our room had peeling paint around the plastic shower & mold on the ceiling. The plumbing pipes to the sink and toilet were actually encrusted with black filth and over-painting. The bed was wonderful and the room was large with an original Greek Revival fireplace. We liked our stay and understand the new owner has ongoing improvements happening as I write this. It's a great opportunity for the owner to take this great inn to the level it deserves.

  Well kept secret

  This is a magnificent house. The staff and owner are polite and gracious. The house is a true beauty in a beautiful town. Our room was large and well cared for the bed was comfortable and firm. Breakfast was downstairs in the main house (very good as well). The house is located with in 4 driving minutes from the river. Walk the grounds look at the blooming trees and flowers.
