  Disappointed

  We stayed here 12 September we were in room 1 no windows very dark yes a four poster bed but very creaky bathroom was very old needing grouting very black toilet seat broke .... pub was open too gone 1am loud music and party goers bouncing boasting how hard he hit someone breakfast we had to wait 45 minutes ( we were only couple having breakfast at this time ) breakfast order was mixed up under cooked toast arrived after breakfast was served plus no orange juice ..strewsbury is beautiful unfortunately this place is not

  Two night stay

  Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting family and couldn't fault the accomdation. Ideally located (although you'll have to park in the NCP, or Darwin Centre shopping centre and walk) right in the town centre. Yes it's a busy town centre pub with an lovely beer garden so if it's a quiet nights sleep i'd suggest elsewhere. We considered it great value for money. Will stay again when we return.

  We booked for food but was told the chef had gone home

  Myself and my partner booked for food and drinks earlier in the week. We were told on the phone that we could have food if we turned up before 4:45pm. We turned up at 4:30pn and were told the chef had gone home. This was very disappointing as we were starving! We had eaten all day so we were looking forward to eating with the Bull, but we were told the chef had gone home. Why couldnt they ring us to say? Very disappointed, and will definitely not be returning!

  Very Poor Service

  Booked two days in advance for food and drinks. Turned up on the day and was told there was no food available because the chef had apparently gone home. Hadnt eaten all day because we were waiting for food here. Very poor service.

  Disappointed

  Booked a table outside as we were with friends and following COVID rules. Ordered food and got told they had run out of 3 menu choices. Service slow, then got told we had to leave but other tables had been there for more hours than we had. When we went to pay, we were told council rules with drinks but others had been there previous with different rules. Very clicky and poor service. Wont go again.
