  The Bugle Inn

  5 stars all round, wonderful 2 night stay at the Bugle Inn, staff and locals very friendly and helpful, food was excellent I'd go so far to say its too good for a pub. The breakfast that's included is quite extensive and there's lots to choose from on the menu. Social distancing is well covered and everything is clean. Would definitely look at staying again in the future. Great location for visiting places as its quite central, eg 15 min to Charlestown, 15min to jamaica Inn 10 min to St austell etc etc. Great value all round.

  How soon can we go again

  The accommodation was clean and comfortable, the landlords and their staff were exceptional and nothing was to much trouble. We were made to feel so welcome that we extended our stay for an extra night.

  Average stay

  Stayed in the bugle inn for 1 night as a stopover to visit the Eden project. It is a good location for the Eden project as only 10 minutes down the road. The staff were pleasant and breakfast included was freshly cooked and nice. The rooms are tired looking and the mattress uncomfortable. The room was very noisy being on a main road and the plumbing system very noisy. However the rooms are very clean. The car park can get full as it is a public car park not privately owned by the pub.

  Superb Sunday lunch

  We called in as a party of four on Sunday for lunch. Very friendly and welcoming staff made all the COVID precautions almost unnoticeable. Sunday lunch ( beef ) was simply superb. The beef literally fell apart it was cooked that beautifully. All the potatoes and veg were cooked to perfection too. I was even tempted to try the chocolate orange cheesecake for dessert - quite frankly if I could have got away with licking the plate then I would have - it was just brilliant. Will definitely call in again when passing this neck of the woods.

  Fantastic Find....

  We stayed here Tues to Fri on a break to visit the Eden Project. Fabulous pub and rooms, with all the extra care around our current COVID issues. The food was amazing!!! Gorgeous quality home cooked food, such an amazing variety too ..... the staff were very friendly and welcoming ..... dont want to go on about it too much or it will be too popular to get booked in!!!! LOL Would def come back ..... also dog friendly!!!!!!
